Thanks, Kane

Does anybody know - will SnP someday be available as a polished version (esp the 23mm would be a nicer match on the Lux, I guess)?

Def a Perseas Question. I would say no as most of us including GP cares for fingerprints! It would be a quick polish my friend. :)

GVC? Nice Woodcutter!

GVC in the classies for all you lovers ;)

New they would be coming soon. One just sold. I am set until Funk Master King P is loaded up. Thanks Digi!

Oh, back to the 3mm Eko in the Taifun bro. Leaving the wick 3-4mm on each side. Want a bit of 3mm? I think my 70vg juice is reaking havoc on wicking.
If building with a micro/cotton lay 1/2 of the cotton in the tank to wick the collector/flood juice.

Bro,

I rewicked with cotton through a micro. It is vaping nice atm. I really want to use strictly cotton for the obvious reasons.

When you say "lay 1/2 in the tank" what exactly do you mean? Are you suggesting putting a bit of cotton down in the chamber itself?

The X and GT are an awesome pair for anyone looking to pair their 23mm X with a Kayfun style atty. Both equally solid in feel and weight. I'm not terribly crazy about the DT style on the GT, but that's a minor issue compared to the way it delivers.

Then again, anything goes well on the X no matter the mm. I'm amazed that even after cleaning, the threading on the tubes hasn't lost its buttery smooth action.

So I generally vape 100%VG ( thinned a little) and a max of 20% PG. I don't really have issues with wicking in my Spheroid , but would I have better flow out of the filler material and possibly hold more juice if I upped the Pg a bit?

I also vape mostly 100%VG, and have no issues with 3 Spheroids, 1.2-1.3 ohm microcoils and cotton.

I have also told you this. Chair only in your personal vape spot in the shelter of your comfortable home. Even then, after 6 drinks it goes on the throne of throne shelves.
:)

Thankx Idaho i just justified my 3rd LUX. (scored in the classies this weekend) 1 for home, 1 for work and now one for drinkin'!

Just run a bit more cotton and split the wick. Some out the sides of the chimney and lay a bit in the collector. This will solve all and any flooding. Pic later. I'll set one up.

You may, my 70/30pg wicks sooo good. I can't get enough of the spheroid. What medium are you using in tank?
Speaking of polishing and brushing things , anyone know the grit of sandpaper etc id use to attempt to match the beautiful brushed finish on the Spheroid.
Industry secret. It won't match perfect but you can get it close. I only have 1 brushed spheroid and it took me a bit.

If you take a look at the GP PAPS X Sneak Preview video, you'll see that the polishing process we use for the brushed finish is complex and needs professional machinery. It is not only grit, it is related also to time, speed and size.
But, as Idaho observed, you can make your own custom brushed finish. The 316 SS has always lighter shades from other grades, so almost any patient attempt will result in a satisfying finish. Spheroids with the old logo, made from SS 303 are darker, lesser dark were the next batches (SS 304) and all Spheroids after March or April 2013 are made from 316 SS.

I bought my spheroid barely used , and he sent me a bunch of filler material for the tank too. Not sure what it is exactly. I guess I could ask him if he bought some from vapour art or if he got it for himself.

What a good way to clean up the brass contacts in the 2.5?
For those Brasso is not an issue for me. Occasionally I sand the contacts with 1200 wet sandpaper in a back and forth motion. That is not necessary though(ocd). A rub with alcohol works also.

Practice is a must with refinishing guys. Be very careful with the Spheroid logos. I protect them in various ways.
Imo the pos clone ghost modder tubes are only good for practice and flattening biscuit dough :)
