What a good way to clean up the brass contacts in the 2.5?

I buy packs of sunshine cloths on eBay and I rub the contacts in a back and forth motion until no more black oxidation rubs off on the cloth and the contact is shinny. It works for the brass button too.

I have large sheet of 400 mesh left. In the Spheroid tips thread I saw that someone used mesh to hold their juice , seems like an interesting idea.

Doesn't replace deep cleaning if needed, normal maintenance. But for spotty contact oxy, it works great. Those "spot checks".

I've just been using a semi soiled Rag that has Been used with Mothers for a quick shine then clean them all with toothbrush and tooth paste every week. Does that sound Boobs to you fellahs or should I be taking extra steps? I know the Gold contacts aren't recommended to be cleaned with things like mothers so do you think a quick Crest clean would suffice for them? I hat to sound ignorant but I've only been running Mechs since early August and just pick up tips and us common sense as i go.

Mothers is a great polish. Many people use toothpaste. Personally, I don't get it. Great if it works and works for you but imo this seems a bit funny to me as to why anyone would. As there are specific tools for specific jobs.
I've been known to clean cookware with a handful of sand when necessary but, I happen to own a sink and soap now :).

X # 0726 in the classies as I type this. Thought maybe for those/anyone who might have missed the op to grab one ;)

I don't understand how/why someone could sell his/her "X"! This is one rock-solid mod - built to last. Has the heft - yet is sleek. Smallest sectional in all battery configs. And my-oh-my, what a switch! Gr8 firer and also the 'lock'! Which other mod secures sans a locking ring?

Thus, after selling the "X" s/he is going to buy what?

A. 40.00 more than retail justifies a flip to some people.

Morning everyone. SO excited for the Paps X for Yankee and all the SnP tanks for my Sophias...

I received a tracking number yesterday (wow...fast service!! thanks so much!)
My question is this: No movement on the package in over 24 hours...should I be concerned? I have never dealt with DHL.
thanks everyone...
signed...overly excited and slightly childishly impatient... ;)

I wouldn't worry, DHL is very reliable on international shipments. There is almost always a one day gap in reporting as it flys and goes thru customs. My last shipments took about 4 days...of course I live about 20 minutes from one of their major hubs at DFW airport.
