Thank you very much Perseas for sending the replacement Spheroid and drip tip.. Gave it a bath, setup silica and coil, and had a vape. Well the flavour is outstanding. Really great! I'll let her do her magic on the Bagua for now. I will re-unite her with her family member Picolo once I manage to adopt one. For now:

The only item I still need to fix is fully tightening down the tube to the atty. I could only get it this far with the 0 ring gap. I didn't want to force further knowing I'd have problems unscrewing. I'm thinking next time I try to re-screw on opposite sides of the tube?

You're welcome :)

Generally, the new O-rings are tight, so if you lube them, change this one with a spare also, or swap the ends of the tube will work for you. Avoid to put them in an ultrasonic cleaner.

I know this gets said all the time , but I'd like to thank Perseas and crew. Your craftsmanship , design , attention to detail and incredibly high quality of materials makes me feel like my money is going to a good place. When I ordered my SnP and parts I was a 'tad' apprehensive about spending 140$ on a tank. I still did it because of all the praise the SnP gets. I am not even slightly upset about it, exactly the opposite , this tank is amazing and I seriously love it. Bravo Perseas and everyone involved. After owning a Spheroid and SnP you officially have my business forever.

Konstantinos is a good friend of mine and his products are really very well, it would be a win win situation for you, whatever your choice would be. Thank you very much for the appraisal and your support!

I'll end up with a Scuba tank sooner or later. I will probably be picking up a Twins extension cap for my Provari soon too.

The SnP really is a beautiful, glorious "tank"!

Today I was heading out to the markets to pick up my lovely new Provari Mini from my vape shop. In preparation, I got my brand new, never-before-used Sofia atty, my brand new, never-before-used glass SnP tank, my brand new, never-before-used GP drip tip, and my brand new, never-before-used Provari ring. I assembled the SnP, filled it with juice and put it in an outside pocket of my handbag, all ready to put on top of the new Provari.

Can you already see where this is heading?

I got to the markets, joined the very long queue for the ATM, and headed off to the vape shop. That's when I noticed that that outside pocket of my bag was empty. My heart jumped. I confess, my first thought was that it had been stolen while I was in the ATM queue. I began retracing my steps, eyeing the ATM queue very suspiciously as I went. I scoured the floor around there, then slowly retraced my steps back to the car. I was looking for broken glass and a damp patch by then.

Nothing.

I repeated the whole exercise. By the time I got back to the car the second time, I was almost in tears. I circled the car, hunted around the seats, and then got on my hands and knees to look under the car. And there it was!!!! It had hit the tarmac and rolled behind the car's wheel.

Sum total damage - a dent in the Provari ring, just visible in the pic (sorry to add to the Provari/SnP/Sofia spam and apologies to the people in the ATM queue :D)

I'm a bit sad about the dent in the Provari ring, but kudos to Perseas for the wonderful SnP that survived the fall!

So i just cleaned the heck outta my lux because the button was slicking every few presses. I applied a little bit of vaseline which helped some but it still sticks periodically I was curious if anyone has any tips for this

Interesting. I clean my devices every other week depending on use. I never add anything to my threads or switches. I just disassemble everything, luke warm water and mild soap, reassemble and done. Flawless performance.

So question, do you take apart the entire switch? Locking run from its housing? Spring? Everything?

The Scuba is a very nice tank. I own two of them for my Divers. They have their place in my rotation. I love the SnP, it also has it's place and is strictly for the Sophia.

Honestly, GP just does it better in ALL things. The SnP is just solid for a carto tank. After unveiling, you just KNOW why it costs what it does.

So!

To put GP back on the pedestal, as if they were ever removed..

I grabbed another bottom button mechanical recently. Why? Because I have a problem! What was I left to do? I own the entire GP line, so I went for another sought after device. I like backups for my backups okay?

I am pleased with my purchase, BUT it made the quality of our GP products stand out even more. See, I had nothing to compare my Paps, Lux, and X to. GP has been my one and only. Let me say, the switch on the GP is outstanding compared to this "other" device. The quality of material used on our GP is defined when we grab another device. Immediately I felt the difference!

With GP, everything feels amazing. The weight, the threads, the smoothness of the labeling, the switch, the locking of said switch, the finish, the ease of assembly/cleaning, the whole dang thing!

Will I treat my new member just the same? Of course I will; I take care of all if my equipment. Does it give my GP a run for its money? Absolutely not!

That vaseline shall make it stickier in the long run. Apropos Digital ~ just wet cleaning (and drying up off course) the switches from time to time is good enough.

If you really have to own another bottom-button, I believe the GP button will fit on a Caravela tube. But you will be mocked here for the Little Ship Tube of Nautical Silliness.

Thanks Perseas. It turns out I just needed to swap ends on the tube and everything is now in it's right place. It looks like my Arrow just lost it's home.

Fascinating, I had this happen once, took it apart and cleaned, put it back together, and thought cleaning it cleared up the issue. Now I realize I had probably put the tube on "upside down". Cool.

More praise to King P is in order. I received my 1st Piccolo & 2nd Spheroid on Wednesday & have been using this combo since then...along w/my SS v2.5 in 18500 mode & SnP/Sophia combo. I'm lovin this slimmer size & the finish of the bead blasted version. This is my first mech w/this finish & I'm diggin it! Thank you Perseas & team GP! An X is still on my list...I just gotta have it!

I'm a big dude, with giant hands. I stay away from the smaller mods. When you feel the X in hand, you will just KNOW. The weight, threading, general machining is unmatched. And will be for some time......I am just in love with it.
