Scott's my favourite (means business) followed by Phil (tho half the time he doesn't know what he's talking about!). I'm subscribed to Todd too, find him kiddish but yet see all his vids b'coz he seems to get all the cool stuff - and I get to see them first hand.

But nobody 'teaches' vaping better than Jlove :) See for yourself:

Yup, said that a few weeks back, Phil just doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time. I still like him a lot but … I also agree on Todd.

I'm just personally waiting on the X1.5 review from Scott.

GPin in the house! I'm excited to play with this one. There are maybe two vaping companies that could get me excited about experimenting with a new positive pin and top cap. Ha!

Rayman! Cool huh? The quality is fantastic. The contacts scream large, solid hunk-o-brass. The interior silver spring is such a nice touch. Who does that? Perseas and George do! Anyone can toss a brass spring in but, silver coated....are you kidding?
How ya been? Busy?

I did not exactly get this from what you wrote "It does include the kit much like Cloud 9's listing but, for some reason they do not list it. A couple friends just received theirs and the kits were included from inTaste."
Maybe my head is not working properly.

I am not sure what I want to do. I want one, but I am not sure about the length, even in short mode. I like the length of dripper mode. Maybe i can modify the chimney so I can have midget mode. I will probably get one anyways.
Can you tell me roughly how much longer the kfm is compared to the spheroid?

Yes, I have said a couple times that the kit is included with the inTaste version. But, maybe it's me! No matter buddy.
How bout this, just decided to sell mine and a KF 3.1. < It's how I do. BOOM sell BOOM buy.
Seriously, I'd be happy to sell it. In brand new condition! I'll even set it up like a CHAMP for you. Never used the extension.
Or, I would def trade for GP anything!

Will the GPin be available for order, and is it compatible with the Lux top cap?

The telescopic screws are the only thing that I don't like about my Lux, and have bothered me from day one. It's just way too finicky trying to get it set just right. I've been really wanting a spring loaded center pin!!

Also, since it doesn't look like any 18350 tubes will ever be available for order, does anyone know what other tubes fit the Lux bottom and top cap threading?

A big Nature Boy Rick Flair WHOOOOOOO to you!
The best way to find the availability is to subscribe to this thread and watch for updates http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...notifications-tips-tricks-updates-thread.html as well as hanging out here and Perseas will keep us all updated. VapourArt will post it on the website and Domovaporco (American reseller) will be quick to follow with inventory. I suspect Domo will soon have the GPin for the PAPS X or at least the PAPS X 1.5 available.

The GPin for the PAPS is another creation as it will be released hoping late this month or early Feb.. It will be a new version of the PAPS, the PAPS 3. I would bet complete PAPS V3 will be available prior to single PAPS GPin top caps.

As far as other tubes, the PAPS v3 will be available in the 500 as well as compatible tubes. The V2.5 will no longer be made, hence the difficult search at this point for a new 350 tube.
Any 20x1 tube will work but, I won't suggest any tube but a GP :), wouldn't use either!

Much Luck and hang around a bit, tis' a great place....Mud wrestling on Wed and Sat nights!

newb question.
1. Does the x only work in 500 mode not 490 because i am getting battery rattle when trying to use a 490?

I do not have a mechanical fuse. I usually run well below the amp limit of my batteries. Hmm maybe it needs a nipple top battery if 490.

The X works in 18350-490-500-650-800 mode, but some batteries are out of specs, in their length, different insulating, etc.

I'd strongly recommend to use IMR 18650 batteries with at least 30A, if you go subzero and be always careful. There is no logical reason to go there, when you know that your battery isn't sufficient for that load. It isn't just a personal preference either, because the ramifications of a potential accident will affect us all, whether we go there or not.

The GPin isn't compatible with the 510 socket for the telescopic posts of the previous versions top caps. A new top cap is needed and they will be available as spare. Our first thought was to design the GPin having the same size with the GP Centre Post, it can be done, but it will have a very poor performance in terms of conductivity, actually it'll work as a hot spring, so we redesigned the top cap.

The 18350 tubes will be available as spares, because the v3 will use the 18500 size as the default serialised tube.

Ok thank you Mr. P! I will have to check around as the efest 490 batteries i am using are getting battery rattle. I only go sub ohm down to maybe .6 and those are on dual coil drippers only and on my sony 30am 18650 batteries. I will not risk anything stupid to blow a large cloud!!! Does the battery need a button top in 18490 mode?
Thank you for the magnificent work and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my X1.5!!

Thanks Perseas. Just to confirm, a new top will be available that will have the Gpin, that will be compatible with the Lux tube?

I use an Efest 18490 button top in mine - works well, the Efest 500 will not work (too long).
If you are going to get a new set of batts, get the AW IMR, they are worth it - I will be switching to them when my Efests start to degrade.
