Your issue happens from either, inconsistent coil tension, individual ohms(meaning one is running a bit warmer, or wick medium.
I see it as just the opposite, the top loop will help ensure that there is equal juice to both sides.
Not sure if you were using 3mm hollow ecowool but, the wicking is superior imo. I have 4mm that is next on my list to build with.
As I clearly see the potential issue, I have had none what so ever but, will now think a bit more on it.
I can't get over the # of vapes I get from a fill @ 1.0 ohms.

Where are you buying your ekowool? I'd love to find a place with 3mm and 4mm hollow in decently large quantities.
My 2 & 3mm were sitting unused for a long time, then I started threading cotton yarn through the ekowool. Now it's my wick of choice for drippers.

I get mine from lightning vapes on eBay. Good prices, well stocked on everything, and extremely fast shipping.
Glad I am not the only one X-less today.... I showed great restraint (and fear of my wife) for not buy one. I really have my heart set on a V3 and Heron so I will sit and wait patiently.

At least purchase from a vendor such as Mr Wick on Ebay that sells the same logo. Authentic from Russia or Poland is far superior.

I have 4 bottles of GVC coming today. I thought customs pinched them but after 9 days of being in Customs they've been freed. Looking forward to the Huron and still holding off on the 1.5 X. I just made a future list of GP I want, and it is... disturbing.
And I'm trying to stick to small mods, but it has been teeth-nashin', nail-bitin' obstinacy not buying an X, and waiting for the Lux v3 and the new Piccolo.

I use rolled cotton, so there could be a number of problems with that, but typically they appear to be of the same size all the way through the loop. I don't think its a coil issue because there is no noticeable difference in speed at which they glow or brightness...so it'd have to be quite minimal if there is a difference in tension or ohms. But like I said, it could be a number of things. I just know that since I started cutting the top even with the positive post, I've stopped having the issue.
Post back your results if you notice this! If its not, I'll give it another go. For now, I'll just stick to 2 cotton wicks.
EDIT: I use microcoils as well, so I don't think wick medium would be the issue as I use the same object to wrap both of my coils.

Just buy some Argentine Pesos...I hear they're on sale...surely you'll make enough profit to pay for your GP purchases.

I feel the same, I would rather patiently wait for a device that has been constructed out of pure love for us or delayed for improvement and perfection from Team GP rather than, a rushed build that has been built with no affection, care or rushed only to add another "box" checked by the greedy builder.
