One problem? I don't work any more? Now what???

PO Box?

In Switzerland they have this service where you get a specific address (an Account number and the address of the post office), and when you order to that address, they just hold it at the post office for you for a small fee per package - this way you don't have to keep a PO Box and pay fr it on a monthly basis. Is there anything like that at USPS or Mailboxes Etc?

Tried ~ Yes. From rumthin, once during one of his visits.
But didn't find anything to rave about. It wasn't as popular in this thread, or any other that I visit, until you fine folks came along and made a hullabaloo over it ;)

Wow. I think a few pulls isn't enough. Vape a tank. Then we will chat. :)

So I had a juice accident last night and my X was covered in it. But I didn't have time to deal with it then or this morning. So I tore my whole X / SnP / Sofia apart and cleaned everything rather than just wiping it down etc.

There's a lot of pieces here …

that pic reminds me of a certain mod that shall remain nameless.... ONE mod. just sayin

Greetings!

Grabbed a spheroid v3 kit and a polished x ring and some vase drip tips from domo and couldn't be happier with the paps X.

The spheroid is proving to be a bit of a bugger for me though. Mainly the wick. I'm running a 1.6mm 28ga 0.9-1.0 ohm micro coil with SnC wick, the same coils as my kayfuns.

The difference is I'm pulling a two stand loop of SnC through the coil a hair past the deck edge and trimming the loose end a smidge longer than the deck, roughly 1cm on both sides of the coil. When screwing the tank on I try to keep the wicks straight and "climbing the wall" up to my filler. It works great for a while then droops down.

I'm thinking I need a bigger coil and more yarn to strengthen it up a bit. Going to try a 2mm micro and 3 stands of SnC. While it is working its a beast on the X!

Are you boiling, then drying your yarn before you use it as wick? That makes it much easier to get the sugar n cream to stay upon the fluff and not droop back down.

I also run a wide enough micro to double my snc through with one strand removed.

I cut 6 lengths a foot or so long and boiled for 20 minutes then dried in the microwave. I keep them all in a bag and one length in a separate "in use" bag to keep it fresh.

It's usually on the first refill that I start having problems. I am going to try a 2mm or 2.2mm coil with three stands next time. I'll let everyone know how it turns out :D

Have you tried to cut the SnC on an angle, then twisting it wet and threading the whole thing through? That's how I work it. All 4 through in one shot. It does take a few tries sometimes along with some re-twists. It seems the whole lot of 4 through at one shot stays upright better. Granted when you pull it apart to refill, they may appear slightly twisted because the fluff and SnC turn on each other.

Haven't tried that yet, I could probably work that without a recoil. No loop on one side I presume? How long are your tails?

I feel like such a newbie again! :D

No. No loops there. The ends touch the fluff. The length depends, but I tend to have it ~3mm wider than the base of Spheroid. Then wet the wick, and curl it up while wet. Have the ends hug the wall while reassembling and continue as normal.

It's been working me like this for weeks. I use this on all my Spheroids.

Again, when you unscrew later to refill, the wick will appear corked because the fluff spins it while it's in contact. Refill, straighten them out, and reassemble.

Sorry if you said this already.
If is your coil parallel or perpendicular to the posts, and are you using the V2 kit with the thumb screws or the V3 kit with the Phillips screws.

You're generally shooting for about 1mm past the edge of the base but that can change a bit with coil height and position.

V2 and it's currently at a diagonal about 1.5mm above the air tube. I'd take a photo of the base but I'm at work and they've already canned people for taking pictures of the 2015 trucks this week. That would be my luck :(

I'll probably have the v3 kit tomorrow though.
