Im really amazed at how well this fluff works. I can vape this thing till its almost dry and I barely lose any flavor!

So I had a juice accident last night and my X was covered in it. But I didn't have time to deal with it then or this morning. So I tore my whole X / SnP / Sofia apart and cleaned everything rather than just wiping it down etc.
There's a lot of pieces here
Now, put em in a bag and shake it, then re-assemble them blind-folded (while timing yourself) - get back to us when you get it under 3 minutes...
S'n'C Wick Preparation:
The S'n'C yarn needs adequate pre-boiling (20 minutes or more) to make it inert. I do it twice ~ initial boiling (with some salt added into it) for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse it well under running water, squeezed and reboil it again with regular water for another 10-15 minutes.
The drying process could be sped up exponentially by putting it thru a kitchen microwave (I do it for 3 minutes approx, depending on the quantity of course). Whereafter, double the desired length up and use some Kanthal to move the loop thru the coil (a tank RBA in this picture ~ works the same principally for Spheroid or K'funs or whatever).
Bottomline: The foregoing process is a must for the S'n'C or similar cotton yarns, including the Peashes'n'Cream, which ensures that our wick remains un-sensitized to the vagaries of our juices (it's flavor and taste in particular) and we get the best out of our vape, vis-a-vis VTF.
Note: Remember, cotton WILL taste cottony for a while... however I've observed that this processing 'contains' that off-taste effectively... remains "only" for the first few draws (typically for 4-5 draws, under 8-9 at max) and then there's no holding back the 'real' taste of our juice/s.

Pulled a full single piece of SnC through my coil (after much rolling/squeezing) and trimmed it ~1mm longer than the deck.
Wow, working great! Unscrew the tank to check, looks good. Bam dry hits. Rewick leaving ~3mm longer than the deck. Working good so far, too scared to check it.

Micro Coil Jig, a must have. Darkzero made me a couple and they are priceless. No reason to crimp the coil before installing as they are fairly tight. Set it in the atty and get it hot and just a little pressure.

Well worth it, saves my eyes and takes about 6 seconds to wrap a perfect micro every time.

I,m subscribed to this GP part of the forum so I read everything and must say you,re all real helpfull and Nice to eigh other !

So I was able to pick up a GP paps X from the Dutch classies, and love it !
Last vape day I orderd a spheriod because the waiting on Heron take to long and figured ok I,ll buy spheriod and later on de heron.
Next day spheriod arrived togheter with upgrade GPin ( wich make the paps X even better !!! )
First tryed to build the spheriod, but had no luck !
Tryed for hours and hours, get so frustrated that send an email to vapourart !
By that time my fingers where bleeding and I was really frustrated so the email wasent as Nice as it shoot.
I get a really quick answer and they went above and behond to help me out !!
Togheter whe figured out ( after plenty e-mails ) that they replace this spheriod and sent me on other one, they even upgrade it for me so I dont get sore fingers Anny more !!!
It was also deliverd the next day, this one is streaming like a train !!
So I want to apolledige for my first frustrated mail to GP team but really want to say that there customer service is something else !
Also there quick response to all my mails made it really Nice to deal with them.
They can count on a other loyal customer !
Really happy with the GP stuf and staf.
Just needed to share.

Glad you got the spheroid up and running. They are great atomizers. I myself am new around these parts and love hearing all the great customer service stories. GP is the real deal!

So I really wanted to use my X in 350 mode but all I have are EFEST that are a bit too long. I ordered some AWs from wonderlite today but he seems to be absent right now. They'll get here eventually.
Anyhow, I remember a few days back Perseas mentioned that someone on another forum ended up cutting the Gpin spring in half to get them to fit without a gap.
Now, I'm not suggesting people do this. And I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong with the X as it comes. It's more a stupid battery thing and wanting options other than 650 for the time being.
Well I'm happy to say that it worked out really well. I got a really nice clean cut on the spring , and after doing some multimeter tests with both springs there is no noticeable VD between the two.
Currently enjoying my X in 350 with my Spheroid. What an amazing compact little setup this is. I wanted it more pocket friendly for work and this certainly does the trick. With an SnP on top it's barely taller than just my Provari mini, which is crazy.

Thats exactly the setup ive been using since I got mine. Super compact! I do have some aw 490's on the way though.
