Do you guys really think these are worthwhile? I think its easy enough to just use a bit, but Idahbro keeps posting this in a few of the threads I visit
I personally don't see the need for one.
You're probably right. I am just a sucker for gadgets and gear. The jig comes standard with 2 mandrels, they are .055" & 1/16". If you prefer a larger size he can modify it to your specification or just add additional size mandrels for a few cents extra.

Do I think it's worthwhile? Probably not. But was it easy as hell to get 5 coils whipped up? Yup. I used a 1/16 nail fine before this but it almost adds another finger or even hand during coiling.
X when you get yours you'll see what I mean. Those that have one will also understand.

I find cotton to work better or a larger dia coil, around 2-3mm for snc. I'm trying remember what I used so I could loop a full piece of snc through

After installing the v3 kit I did use the 2.5mm shank of a hex driver I carry for another atomizer. A full piece loop of SnC fits through nicely.

Did a refill and the wick is still nicely in place. Yay!

Just need my micro stick to ship!

Got my 1.5 upgrade from Domo today. Outstanding!!!! Just what I always wanted in this top cap because of my sausage fingers lol.

Yup, it's outstanding isn't it? I absolutely love the ease of changing batteries and attys. One thing I found that will be taken for granted is how often manual adjustment battery rattle pins come slighty off during a battery change causing a bit of fiddling. With the gpin I simply pop the battery out, pop a new one in, and screw the top cap back on :)

Damn, have not been around for a few days and the thread expands by many pages :).

Since I have had the X, it seems it is the one mod that is always in my hands. I have it paired up with my Spheroid v3 and I have been so satisfied. I have been vaping custard juices almost non stop in the Spheroid, it makes them taste so rich.

I wonder if I cut the spring in my G-pin if that would solve my 18350+kick problem.

Hi ID~ I'll have mine on Monday :)
Hey many good brother S. Very nice!
Thanks! I've actually been rinsing it out after every tank. It is still working great.

On another note. Should the gp logos on the x and spheroid match up in 490 mode as well? Just got my 490 batteries and when I put my xtension tube on, the seam doesn't seem to be as tight as it usually is when the cap is on the 350 tube. And the logos aren't in line with each other. Not a huge issue... Just wondering.
Rinsing the fluff after each tank will take its toll bro. You will have mail Monday. Promise.

The logos are luck of the draw on the X and attys. With no Tele posts to adjust its just lucky if it does as the the male 510 length to thread count into female Is your master.

Hey Loop, measure twice, cut once if need. I would pm P posing the question. He has commented on it.
Remember that spring hosts the atomizer 510 connection as well.
It seems you need a tad smaller posts. I have a set from early on that I will measure against the newer caps.

Got my spheroid today and set it up. 2.2 ohm micro coil (which is a little higher than I like), peaches and cream yarn. Did a loop in the coil. One problem is the draw is really tight. Is that normal for the spheroid or can I adjust something to make it easier?

What diameter, gauge wire, & how high off the air hole?

Absolutely, wrapping a tight stacked coil in 6 seconds without having to heat out hop pin a drill bit to compress is awesome. Put the coil right on the atty and heat it up and squeeze it gently if needed.
The stability is nice as well as improved visibility to stack coils perfect.
It's not a need but neither are wire joiners, 6 bay battery chargers, mod stands, etc..
It just compliments our vaping lifestyle.
No one sees the need until they use one. Hence his stock situation. I already know of two other companies racing to Patten theirs.
Love it.

Your wick loop may be blocking airway. The wick just needs to touch fluff. Unscrew tank and hold it next to the base. Line the tank up where it would be screwed down and approximate the wick length needed.
If the wick is too long it will twist a bit when screwed together. :)

That helped a bit. Vapor is better too. Is the loop necessary?
