Got my spheroid today and set it up. 2.2 ohm micro coil (which is a little higher than I like), peaches and cream yarn. Did a loop in the coil. One problem is the draw is really tight. Is that normal for the spheroid or can I adjust something to make it easier?

I thought the same thing. Instead of trying to adjust the draw with power tools, it took me almost three weeks to get used to the kind ofpuff I'd need to take with the Spheroid. After awhile I just didn't want to risk changing the taste for an airier draw.

Single strand of PnC through a 2mm coil works better for me than the same coil with a two-strand loop pulled through it.

Totally off topic (do we have a topic here …?) , randomly grabbed this at the beer store before I came home. I havnt opened it yet , but i'm pretty excited.

A comment from the Beer Advocate review page:

The licorice is in your face along with a rich black strap molasses flavour, cold pressed coffee along with more subtle roasty flavours bring up the rear, make no mistake this is a big boy beer with big boy flavours

With slight notes of communism and death (symbols on the bottle) :D

So who here use's a kick, I ordered one but running a .8 ohm 1/16 micro coil in the X I really don't see the need for it, it hits like a freight train.. Just put the v3 kit in the spheroid View attachment 299210[/QUOT

I sometimes will use a Kick2 when I want to take my Paps out for a few drinks, 18 holes for fun or anytime I don't want to pay close attention to my device.

Some advantages to the Kick2:

1. Offers safety: won't fire a shorted build, depleted battery or over heated atomizer.

2. Gives the same vape (up to 15 watts) from off the charger until battery is safely depleted. (no feeling that battery draw down)

3. Safely handles .5 to 3 ohm builds.

4. And the biggest advantage: If you want the safety and regulation, you can have it and still hold in your hand any one of the 18*** size GP mods, the most beautiful and well built mods on the planet....

Thanks! I've actually been rinsing it out after every tank. It is still working great.

On another note. Should the gp logos on the x and spheroid match up in 490 mode as well? Just got my 490 batteries and when I put my xtension tube on, the seam doesn't seem to be as tight as it usually is when the cap is on the 350 tube. And the logos aren't in line with each other. Not a huge issue... Just wondering.

There is no way for us to know where the threads start each time for a perfect alignment of the logos. As for the seams of the eXtensions, every X is hand polished assembled in 18800 mode and if you screw them with different order or use other mode, the seams appear more visible. You can see the time consuming process of the polishing in the teaser video of X.

Thanks Perseas. That makes sense! Must have gotten lucky with it all lining up in 18350 mode :)

I have the same issue in 350 mode with kick2.. I get about a mm or two gap when I use the gpin. Going to try 490 next...

I really like the GP vase dt. It goes so well with the spheroid/X combo. :D

Now all I have to do is switch my V2 to a V3. I've got the parts... Just need to finish this bottle of GVC... :)
