Funny how powerful music is to the human spirit. It takes more lives, saves more lives, brings people together, breaks people apart, etc. than we can ever imagine.

Punk was alive and well for me growing up and was in it's height before I signed over my life and had to grow up too fast.
I'm back into Rehab, Rob Zombie, Cypress Hill, and classic rock and never left Sublime or Blink 182 - West Coast music. I am also forever faithful to Pink Floyd and at some point want to see Roger Waters "The Wall Tour" but, gonna be a while before I can deal with crowds.

Yeah, me either. Nowell leaving too soon sucks! I feel a little Sublime in 311's music, not quite the same, but it will do in a pinch. =)

Nice. That was me , I'm seeing Nile on May 1st!

Brutal Death wise do you listen to Putrid Pile at all, I'm back in to them a bit right now.

Though lately I've been on a pretty big Death Grind kick with Cattle Decapitation in heavy rotation.

Speaking of Death Grind bands, my friends had one going for a few years that you might really enjoy. Shoot me a PM to remind me and I'll give you a copy of the album. Female singer and she's hands down my favourite next to Kat Katz of Agoraphobic Nosebleed ( who also has amazing performances on the newest Pig Destroyer).

Ok time to stop , I could yap about metal all day lol.

Putrid Pile is another fave of mine. Along with Devourment, Abominable Putridity, etc.

And yeah, love Death Grind too. Cattle Decap is amazing. Saw them live last year. Also, Aborted is great in that genre.

I'll shoot you a pm later to not muck up this thread further lol.

I think we just became friends.

It might be very difficult in that form factor. The 6mm horizontal space is not enough to have terminal posts in one plane - hence they need to be spaced vertically. And with vertical terminals there is a wasted, but necessary travel involved for the wire that just does nothing but carry the current.

And if that current isn't atomizing, it will produce unnecessary heat if moving thru a resistance. Which in turn shall contribute to many unwanted/undesired actions. Thus, the unfortunate need of CE2 styled cups and the NR-R-NR setup.

The nearest thing possible (w/out the NR) in those dimensions is the K'fun Mini. That is as thin as it gets. Thus, unless the tank is incorporated within the Carto-RBA module it might be very difficult to have a Tank-RBA without the NR, IMHO.

but a boy can dream right? Lol

OK I have to admit after having Bryce's for a few weeks this is really growing on me. I don't know if it's a result of steeping or from just letting go of the fact that you can't compare the flavour to Grant's. They both have their own unique flavour. I have to say I am liking this flavour.

Yeah I really like it too. I just ordered another 30ml of all three flavours.

Rome does a good job picking up with Sublime. 311 is a great band, one of my go to's. They were two bands we could all agree on when having to get funky over in the usmc. Except for the country boys that is.

I agree, everyone was hating on Rome, but I thought he was great on the album. Sometimes I thought I was listening to Brad again......ahhh the memories.

FWIW, I just wanted to air my GP wish list:

- An updated Spheroid base with integrated AFC. I know the Heron will have one but the Heron also replaces the top cap/gpin so I'm not sure how that would work.

- Now that I anticipate loving my SnP tank, would also love it if we 15mm carto tank users could get some love. Not a lot of high end choices (with glass) for us there.

Now that I've said it ... keep on rocking!

The Heron has a Gpin on the bottom for a connection.

Or are you just saying you're not sure how they would do AFC on the Spheroid like the Heron has.

Yeah... that's what I am saying. Was just thinking about it ...

The base does seem like it has some area to work with. An inner, ported ring with an outer ring with sliding hole, perhaps? Not sure if the dimensions of that would interfere with the post positions, though. And the center hole would probably need to be a little bigger ...
