I guess I am missing the need for afc on the spheroid. Many I talk to feel the same. If anything, maybe an adjustable post(such as the kayfun lite has on the bottom) or airhole on the outside base. But...the spheroid is a great change from dripper draw to me. My spheroids have nice airflow. Maybe for the lung hitters?
The spheroid has a tighter draw, right? more in line with the 510's or 306's most of us started off with?

Exactly. I personally love the draw on the Spheroid and probably wouldn't open it up more if I could. For me my Spheroid is the perfect relaxing on the couch at nighttime atty. For a while I really wanted a pipe for it for that very reason. Maybe in the future.
I opened up the draw a bit on both my spheroids, but I wouldn't want it anywhere near dripper draw. Maybe HF Dripper... 
Stock was just a bit too tight for me, I drilled out the 510 post holes just a bit, made a world of difference for me.

Very nice...is it bead blasted? I like the contrast between the finishes...and I don't own anything that doesn't have cat or dog hair on it...
That was just my personal wish list. I do not claim to know what the masses prefer, I just know my own preferences. If it makes sense, or doesn't, it isn't my call, but who's to say it's not plausible or desirable?
I do really enjoy my Spheroid but if there's something that can appeal to all of you and, maybe, the limited minority of ... well ... me with reasonable cost then yay.

It is. I have a satin spheroid too but it's on another mod atm...

I have GP paps X with taifun GT and of course filled up with GVC.
But the GVC gets really dark in taifun almost black !
Is this OK ?

sounds like the juice is burning.... what resistance is the taifun?
