Regarding the Spheroid airflow of 1.2-1.25mm.. for me it's the perfect draw. Wouldn't want it to be more or less.
If I want more vaper I use a dripper with huge airholes, but that gets boring rather quickly. Something around 1mm or less is too tight for me. So the Spheroid has the golden middle.

IMHO of course ;)

Agreed. So nice to have variance. I never drilled out my Camels :).

I'm really enjoying my Paps gear. Right now tracking the arrival of my GVC.

Now maybe I'm not as smart as I think I am here but how would drilling out your 510 holes increase airflow at all?

You have 2mm of airflow at the 510 and a 1.25mm airflow under the coil. You are already drawing in more air through the 510 than the coil airflow hole will allow to pass through it. The 510 airholes could be 1/2 inch and you're still constrained by 1.2 at the coil.

Am I missing something here?

Edit. Is it just me or do a lot of PAPS owners also have Macs?

I know the OP said 510 air holes but maybe he meant the air hole in the deck. I would NOT recommend opening the air holes in the 510 past 1mm, I would think it would be too easy to mess up the threads. I did check my 510 air holes to make sure
They were at least 1 mm, using a very small reamer. Yes. I said reamer. I did open the hole in the deck very slightly. Probably to about 1.3-1.4mm. That tiny change made my draw perfect for me. The spheroid is pretty sensitive to changes in this area. You can always make it a tiny bit bigger, but not smaller.

Chads airflow logic is correct, always constricted to the smallest openings. So doesn't make sense to open the hole in the deck more than 2mm.

There is something about inch sizes I never learn to understand! 1 inch is 2.56 cm so far as I know. 2.56 divided by 32 = 0.08 * 3 = 0.24. It is not a particularly large hole ;-)

3/32 of an inch is 2.38mm or as you said .24 of a CM.

3/32" is 2.38mm. It is a big hole when compared to the spec, which is 1.2mm. That's twice as big.

Nope, not sure at all. I know it was just a bit bigger than stock. Maybe 1/32" I'll have to look when I get home tonight

Probably 1/16" if the stock is 1.2mm. I know it wasn't much bigger than stock and the draw is still fairly tight. Certainly not anywhere near the drippers I see nowadays.
