The dedicated server almost crashed, we need to upgrade it the next weeks, till then, we shall have a new batch of GP PAPS v2.1 in 2-3 days. I will give exact date and time tomorrow.

What is gold plated on the new switches? Just the firing pin and/or the visible part on the bottom?

The firing pin and the button is one piece and it is gold plated, and the holding nut also.

I don't believe the purpose of this thread is to read that your computer is "loading and loading.". This means nothing to no one else but you. I come on this thread to read about vapourart products, of which I have a lot of respect for. You "trying to check out...c'mon c'mon" does nothing to further the purpose of this thread.

GP PAPS parts in a sequential order heh? It is pretty simple to assemble it, so I didn't think that an exploded view is needed. I'll upload later a photo of this kind.
It is only a few optional pieces in the last 2 batches, 24k gold over nickel plated brass posts, and they give an improvement of conductivity, when they are both combined, the gold plated telescopic post and the gold plated button.
The coming gold edition of GP PAPS v2.1 shall have 24k gold over silver plated brass contacts and very hard brass tubes as default configuration. They are still in production.

any news on the paps X, perseas?We have configured the final design and we are arguing with the CNC guys about the minimum tolerance of our schematics. We have to win, otherwise we shall change CNC which can delay the production.

Perseas, are you finding much less resistance with the gold switch as oppossed to the brass? It's rather genius of you to plate the switch as there must be a difference.
No need to go to extra trouble just for me, I figure things out quickly without diagrams. I noticed the piccolo has quite a few pieces in the switch mechanism and thought maybe PAPS was similar, and would be nice to have the diagram to identify them all if one existed. That and it would make a nice geeky wallpaper for my pc while I wait for shipments. I'm sure you have more important things to concentrate on, right now.
The total gain in conductivity when both post are gold plated is 0,15-0,20 V measured with a GP Spheroid at 1,8Ω, 2,0Ω, 2,2Ω on a SS GP PAPS v2.1.
Today's batch is a part of the current production, another batch will come in 2-3 days.
We are a very small team and we release our mods in mini batches in order to be able to handle the delivery and the after sales communication with our customers.
We continuously increase our production, but if we choose to work through vendors for instant availability, then we shall increase the price of our mods. Vendors have to live too
