Take apart the switch and check the spring as it mentioned above.
The resistance value especially 0,6Ω and below, draws so much voltage of the battery that heats the battery and consequently the button. When a mod has a small size, this adds to the equation, because there is less space for uniform heat dissipation.
Ok I've checked the spring, squeeze the spring a bit on the button end now it works fine. Could it be the spring touching the switch body? Most of the time I'm running 1.0Ω. I tried not to go lower then that. Thanks for the info, so far so good.
Yep! As you noticed, the spring is very thin to keep the button's feather sense, it's almost invisible and it can easily slip and touch with one of its edges the switch's body, if it hasn't been squeezed all the way down during assembling.

Hi guys, I just got my piccolo v2 and was trying to put the spheroid on it earlier. As there was some gap in between, the noob me took out the spheroid and tighten the centre screw on the top cap.. I guess I might have do it too much and now when I remove the top cap the spring can be taken out easily.. With the batt inside now I can feel no tension as I can hear the battery sound when I shake it. How can I rectify the problem?

The best solution is to buy a telescopic centre post. A not so good solution due to loss of conductivity is to use a slightly wider spring like the ones of the ballpoint Parker stylus. Another solution is to use a brass screw, long enough to make contact with the battery and to keep the Spheroid flush on the Piccolo.

It will be made from SS 316 and it will have fused quartz glass so it can be used with any menthol liquid.
This tank started as a project on August of 2012 and it was announce for first time on 7 of February 2013 on VaporWall.

Perseas, I don't know if you guys consider requests, but I think a 22mm hybrid dripper which replaces the PAPS top cap would be very popular. I know there is one person out there who has done this but is unable to meet any demand. Maybe a 2-in-1 that transforms from a genesis to dripper, to reach more customers?
I just cant believe the machining of all of your devices. I do not think that anyone does it better - seriously. I hold and stare at the spheroid as all of your work and am so impressed buddy.
Agreed. I got my first paps and I was amazed. My second paps came in and the machining was even better. This 3rd paps I got in today was superb. I will definately be f5'ing for a lux edition. The flat top caps are beautiful. And im glad perseas keeps improving and adding. not enough modders do this.
Take the Gus for example. Still using a spring in the top cap.

Just got the button and cap all together and it hits like a heavyweight CHAMP! Didn't think it could make a noticeable difference in my vape, but I definitely feel like it's warmer and more instantaneous of a delivery.

Below is a photo of a prototype switch from the upcoming GP PAPS v2.5 switch, initially it will come with the GP PAPS Lux edition that is coming on May and later as spare GP PAPS switch v2.5.
It has no knurling and we have created 4 ridges with 0,1 mm height. so the mod is able to stand upright and unlocked, passing that way the drunken vaper test
Another advantage is the button fires with even less pressure than before. It is almost a touch button.
The hemispherical dents on the sides of the switch won't be in the final version.
