i mostly use drippers these days, too. the really small ones, like the vicious ant cyclone, era, etc., produce very intense flavor. recently, i've been absolutely loving the immortalizer, which produces great flavor, has a screw on cap and can hold quite a few drops of liquid.

anyways, now that i've got a spheroid on the way, i can't wait to try it out. it'll be nice to have another good pocket-carry option. right now, i usually take my terminator out with me for the day, but it's a heavy chunk of metal and really not ideal for me. i haven't had much luck with getting my did or mini-did to taste as good. i've only had them for a couple weeks, so hopefully it's just a matter of time.

Yeah, the pinoy drippers are all pretty good. I once saw a spheroid tube that turns it into one of these small drippers. Anyone know about these and how to get them?

Edit: Nevermind...this is probably off thread topic. Sorry guys.

Off topic? Nope! I dont think Perseas minds anything we talk about as we are his ECF family and supporters!

I will take a picture of the setup tonight as I am on a roll right now with my Spheroid and trying to find out how long this awesome 1.5 ekowool wick would last me - over 2 weeks so far. I thought it was done last night but a bit of rinse and torch and it still is hitting hard.

Guys and gals, as Idaholandho said, you are my ECF family and supporters, we are all vapers here, so feel free to discuss about different devices and approaches to vaping.

On a different note:
We shall have an SS edition of GP PAPS v2.5 soon, when they are ready I'll post it.
The v2.5 SS edition has been delayed a bit, because we are waiting the 316 SS rods to arrive.
From v2.5 all GP PAPS 18xxx will be made from 316 certified European 316 SS as the Spheroid v2 is already.
The GP PAPS v2.1 was from 304 certified European SS.
GP SnP tank will be made from 316 SS and it is under production.
GP Piccolo v2.6 and v3.1 are under production too and their materials are in transition, having parts made from 316 SS and parts from 304 SS.

As I'm sure many of you (in the US) are traveling this weekend, what is your favorite OOT Paps setup?

My trap tank always leaks when flying because of the pressure differential. I've tried removing the fill screw mid flight to release the pressure but juice always finds its way through the cartomizer and out the 510 connection. Maybe something to think about the SnP? Someone needs to make a tank with a pressure bleed valve and the ability to close the juice feed for air travel. Looking forward to leaving the syringe at home thanks to the SnP design.

GP Spheroid doesn't leak during flights, because the liquid is held by the filler, so the differentiation of the external pressure cannot affect it. It is the same with the BOGE cartomizers, but with the difference that the coil never touches the filler material.

The upcoming GP SnP tank is a different story. Its design helps, but we haven't tested it yet in flight conditions.

How about some GP LUX Accessories ?

Given the neat feat with this LUX Edition, its gorgeousness, I believe it also deserves some of it's own accessories, some hi-quality stuff... say a LUX Carry Pouch, Sleeve or Hard Case... a GP Drip-Tip, Or how about a Tank-Atty dedicated to it, something like the "Vela Latina"? Maybe the GP S&P gets a tweak.

I'm sure GP will find a loveable market for these amongst us.

I'm waiting!

I love the spheroid but it would require bringing extra wick, wire and a screwdriver. When I'm traveling, I like to keep it simple and I've found that tanks works best for me. Really looking forward to testing the SnP.

Anybody tried Paps LUX v2.5 500 tube with AW IMR 18350 & Kick?

I couldn't make it works, the switch stuck even when I adjusted the top screw. Either the tube is too short or AW IMR is too long.

Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Remove the bottom screw from the telescopic post and try again. The kick's length varies from 1,5 mm to 1,9 mm, this is a production inconsistency. If we're making our tubes up to 4 mm lengthier for the bigger kicks, the battery alone would rattle inside and it wouldn't make a proper contact. From the other side, we try to keep our mods as small as possible, following the batteries's specs, that often break the rules.
The current sizes of our tubes are the best compromise we've found, after many changes and tests with all kinds of batteries.
GP PAPS v1 & v2 18500 tube was a 1 mm shorter and we increased its length in the next versions, as soon as we observed the kick's variable sizes, and this is the maximum possible increment.

Here is a video with the 18500 tube with a kick that fits perfectly, because its length is 15 mm, as it is supposed to be with all of their units, but probably your kick doesn't follow the rule.

What is the purpose of the screwdriver?

This solve the problem! Thank you so much, appreciate the tip!

It turns out my Kick is about 16~16.5mm :( Oh well, so much for consistency.

Hey peeps, anyone found any "sleeve" for the GP-LUX?

Rayban case.jpg GP Lux Pouch.jpg

This thing is so beautiful & gorgeous that I dread placing it on the table, or in my pockets either for the 'fear' of blemishing it :( I don't want a single scratch on my LUX. Which is why I'm ending up carrying it in my Ray-Ban pouch, rolled in the soft micro-fiber cloth. And that's passable - but not right.

So, any IDEAS?

I just wrap mine in a linen cloth and slip it into my pockets but i think either a leather tool roll-up or fountain pen case would work well.
