how much of the fluff filler should i be using with my spheroid? seems like i am having problems with the wick keeping up... maybe the spheroid isnt my match as a sub ohm chain vaper?
here is mysetup:
just enough fluff to wrap around the bell
double wrap nextel 1/32 with a loop that touches the fluff
6/7 wraps or so of 28g kanthal
.9 ohms

I use 7-9cm x 2cm strip of sera filter wool, ekowool w/ 28g or 30g kanthal at 0.8 - 1.0 ohms

The best resistance range for the GP Spheroid is 1,4-2,2 Ω with 0,16 mm resistance wire. You can also see the setup video in the tips & tricks thread, here on ECF.
Below is some links of the various setups for the GP Spheroid from different users:

About the filler material:

Cut with scissors a filler strip with proportions of 70 - 90 mm x 20 mm and wrap it around the bell of GP Spheroid. Its length and thickness is depending on the viscosity of the eliquid and the VG/PG ratio.

Guys is the button on the lux edition plated gold as well or is it bronze like the tube? Because I see the button and the tube the exact same color.

It is gold over silver plated brass for the LUX Edition and brass for the SS Edition.

Most of you know I am loyal to PAPS more so than any of the "expensive" mods I own.
I have to say that another member and I each bought a device from another manufacturer. I wont disclose who she was....JACOJI(a great friend). She may have mentioned that we were lucky enough to each get a Nemesis. Well, the short story is that both of us had ours sold the next day after they arrived for many reasons.
The reason for me telling the story is that, I am a conductivity freak and will not keep or use it if the build quality does not pass my standards. The Nemesis machine work was lazy in my opinion. All of the connecting threads were obvious on the exterior and the finish felt dirty. I never even placed a battery in it. These are my opinions and I am aware that they are capable of building good devices.

I find myself comparing every mechanical mod I own or read about now to GP/VapourArt's build standards. I have yet to find machine work that compares. I do not and will not compare it with the Caravella or Chi's as these are not available or affordable to the average market. But, I will still put GP head to head with them any day, any time no matter what.
The machining and workmanship is no less than incredible.
I find a clear way to see if a company is proud of their finish is to look at the finish inside the device and their products. Its smooth, shiney, and awesome. The threads dont slice your fingers and all parts match up like they belong together when mated, very solid. I have a 600.00+ mod that looks like the inside was chewed out by a beaver.
There have been no recalls on parts.
There have been no complaints on the threads or forums.
The customer service they provide stands alone at the top.
The last thing I'd mention is that GP is constantly trying to bring new products for us and is doing it so that there is a better opportunity for all countries to have fair chance - great marketing.
Oh, the best part I felt was when GP decided to display one of their tanks on a ggts. I've not seen a company ever that produces their own devices do this. I know Perseas and Imeo have much respect for each other and wont hesitate to tell any of us.

And I find this thread to be a very friendly one.
Thanks.

I could not agree more with Ida-ho. No disrespect to Imeo but I haven't used my GGs much in the past few months. The GG button just has not been reliable, even with the magnet upgrades installed. In this same time period, I have received a Silver Dog V2 and that button is so hard to press that I have to use my middle finger, which leads to an awkward hand position.

All the aforementioned mods produce the same amount of vapor but the Paps is effortless, even with the 2.1 button, and is an absolute pleasure to use. As you have witnessed by my pictures and like my dog, the Paps is always by my side. Thank you Perseas. I very much look forward to the continued evolution of your products.

For the info of everyone, got confirmation thru Vapor Wall that Perseas is actually offering two (2) different versions of the SnP. The first release will be it's 23mm variant, made for Provari. And in a few days there'd be another launch of the 22mm version of the SnP catering to most mech.mods, like the PAPS-LUX.

The 23mm is plastic bottle refillable, whereas the 22mm SnP will require the use of needle heads/tips. And these will be released within the next few days :).

PAPS Team thanks you all for your praises and your loyalty. These put on our shoulders a greater responsibility to respond with better products, QC and customer support. We're doing our best to honour the opinion you have for our mods, but in case any issue occurs by human or machine error, we'll fix it definitely.

The GP SnP tank 23 mm comes in a few days, the 22mm version will come later, I cannot tell exactly when, but it won't take long.

I am stoked to hear about the 22mm SnP for my Paps and in the mean time the 23mm should look great on a Provari with Hippo upper cap. This is a great example of perseas and his team knowing the marketplace and their outstanding service to the vaping community.
