It could be a good idea to double plate with matte silver, but I think the visually best will be aluminium bronze.
I think it's ok, people use them to deoxidise bronze clocks, albeit I don't know about the gold plated parts.

O nice. Hopefully will see some 18500 tubes. O yeah and hope they go up on Thursday or before. Friday I travel, but if I have to be crazy and try to buy using my phone browser I will!
I need a 500 tube also! maybe a 650 too.

GP SERIES UPDATE
The GP PAPS v2.5 18500 & 18650 alu-bronze tubes aren't ready yet, as well the v2.5 SS ones.
We wait the alu-bronze rods to arrive and they will be available around the middle of the month.
The SS tubes will be ready earlier.
The GP PAPS SS v2.1 polished tubes are available in 8500, 18650 and 18800 sizes.
This week's batch will have GP PAPS v2.5 18350 LUX Edition & SS Edition mods and GP PAPS v2.5 switches.
We wait also, the first switches of GP Piccolo v3.1 to be tested, I'll post about them this week.
GP Spheroid units will arrive in 2 weeks.
GP Salt & Pepper is under production, in a few days we shall have it ready.

Perseas, I'd "only" be needing the v2.5 Switch in this batch (for my 18500 tube). Is there any way that u could "open" it up in ur website, so that we could "cart" it NOW, and payup on the day of sale?
I request this b'coz on the sale day, due to heavy traffic, it'd be a tough job. Besides, many of us might just be wanting the 'switches'... so, if we could cart it now, it might reduce the overall traffic time on the LUX's sale day. Better still if u put the switches up for sale a few days before the LUX... that'd help everyone

Although I plan to try for a LUX on sale day, I think this is a great idea. I don't believe, on sale day, I could get everything I want in the cart and checked out. I would be happy to buy the switch and tubes I need at on earlier day and and the LUX on sale day, even though this would mean double the shipping...some things are just worth it !
Another classies pickup from two separate sellers. They had some swirlmarks (the spheroid worse than the paps) but they were taken care of today
