Personally, I like having two of everything...generally in different finishes though.
I'm kinda diggin' the v2.5 SS, but shall try and withhold my urges b'coz I'm awaiting the Piccolo too.

Sure, I can understand that.. if I could afford it, I'd like to have 2 of everything as well (just like clothes, shoes, etc).Personally, I like having two of everything...generally in different finishes though.
I'm not. I don't understand why someone would need more than 2. Kinda makes it unfair for people who haven't had the chance to order one yet if people who already have a few are also ordering another one. That website is slow as molasses when the inventory goes live.. some people aren't lucky enough to get their orders through.
I think a bigger issue is those that buy a mod just to trade it.
OMG, relax. I didn't know you only had one Lux. You made it sound as though you had many, and wanted more. I'm not accusing you of anything, so you can calm down and quit being so defensive.I only own one so far. Unfair? please. You havent tried to buy many nice mods then, all sites are bogged down. I find VapourArt to be quite easy and never had issue.
I use my mods. They don't sit around and collect dust on a shelf. If I have 5 of anything, I can guarantee each will move into rotation
I have a close close friend on this thread - Jacoji that is out of town that day that I will give first dibs to buy or Imaybe trade her for good liquor. If she does not take it I will keep it and use it until the end of time. I have 2 homes and split up my gear. Don't judge me or anyone else on this thread. If I am willing to play the game with good intentions on friday, I will and will, wish me luck.
In fact, I have friends including moderators here on ECF that I would loan it out too so that they can see, feel and use if they ask. I would check it out like a library book. The more people that see it the more sales and success for GP, the better for me and us. In fact I will end up sending one to CigarBabe to review on her show.
I own mods that that would be on the shelf without juice for some as some feel it will "lose value" or not be collectable.
Again, I have no PAPS or any other device that sits, I am alternating two PAPS now with two deifferent setups. As a matter of fact I have 6 GP PAPS and every one was used today and I didnt have to unscrew or mess with tanks and drippers. When I stop using mods I sell for less than I bought them for.
Have you seen some of the collections that people have of Caravella, Chi_Yo, and Zenesis. Well, I collect PAPS and am thinning my Zenesis out. Armirite I would suspect feels the same.
When GP tells me to stop buying doubles, I will stop.
Good Luck.

As a matter of fact, I have tried to order from other sites (as I already said in my previous post), and yes I have noticed all of them get bogged down. Why would you think I thought otherwise? Your experience with VapourArt's is the exception, not the norm. Read back in this thread, see all the posts from people experiencing ridiculous delays trying to go through the checkout. It took me 24 minutes to finalize my order, some people it took longer. Plenty of comments on the other forums as well about it.
That's good to hear. Ya know, this just means everything will sell out even faster. We are working on the speed of our site and in the next batches all issues will be eliminated. If you've noticed, the delay is already half from that of the first batch, and it will be even less in the near future, as we're continuously improving our web services.

Anyway, order away. I'm not dictating what you can or can't do. I'm just simply sharing my opinion on people in general who buy multiples of the same thing who come across (to me) as greedy hoarders. That's just how I see it, I'm not trying to piss on anyone's parade.
Does anyone use a fuse with their Paps? Is it even possible?
I use a 2cent for safety fuse in my 18500 tube, because it is the only way I can get a 18490 to work. The screw adjustment is not long enough without the fuse. I don't have a voltage loss with the fuse, so I'm happy.
Here's some information on my experience with the GP Paps 2.1 and mechanical fuses for those who are interested:
My preferred configuration is with the 18650 tube, an AW IMR 18650 battery, and a Holocron Labs ShortStop. With the center post screwed in all the way, without the removable screw, it fits perfectly - it's snug with no movement whatsoever. I put the fuse on the positive end of the battery with the nipples touching so the flat side of the fuse touches the center post.
The ShortStop doesn't fit well with the 18350 tube and an AW IMR 18350 battery as I cannot find a way to fit it in there with both caps completely screwed on - I see lots of threads. It's a tight fit, but I can fit in a Vape2Safe if I put it on the negative end of the battery with the nipple touching the battery and the flat side of the fuse making contact with the button. It's not perfect as I can see a very small gap if I look closely, but the Vape2Safe is definitely thinner than the ShortStop and fits pretty well with the 18350 tube.

Probably not happening with the 18350 tube, huh? I was reading a good discussion on battery safety and was concerned because I am running low ohms (0.8-1.2). I experienced a short when I started rebuilding atomizers (The mod became instantly hot, battery was sweating) but that has not happened again since learning how to wrap a proper coil. Any thoughts on battery safety in a Paps?
