Welcome Heden. Now that the greeting is out of the way.... Lets discuss the acquisition of some drip tips. :D
As stated elsewhere
I haven't made any for anyone else yet. Wood ones would be expensive & granite or onyx would be ridiculous due to time it takes to make them.
What do you want to put it on?

Sorry I have not had time to catch up on the contest thread. Once I get 3-4 pages behind it is almost impossible for me to catch up. So I will usually just skim through the posts and then jump back in.

I think the one you had on the Fogger in your pic would look mighty nice on my Big Buddha. Might look pretty sweet on my black Tobh as well.

Honeydew was my predominant guess. I could see the others, too. Pear in particular.

At first I was getting a clean cantaloupe taste and there is not even cantaloupe in it. After 4-5 weeks I no longer get the cantaloupe taste and others flavors are starting to mature and become more pronounced.

For me this is just one of those flavors that I have to say yes I like it and stop trying to figure the flavors out. If not it will drive me mad.

Somebody told me I should stop by here.

Welcome and yes let us discuss some custom drip tips. Give us an idea of what ridiculously expensive would be? Still might be worth it to have one in the collection.

I do not enjoy the taste of metal in my mouth so I am cool with a wood one, but obviously the granite is pretty awesome.

That's why I said catch up over here and just drop in whatever you like there for an entry. Pictures, comments, facts about life. i have a hard time keeping up with most of the contest as well. It is why I normally let them just be post up easy things. This time around I wanted to make it a bit more intimate and make people talk so I could get a feel for who was behind the keyboard.

Do you have a home lathe you are turning these custom tips on? If it is too overwhelming on the cost and your time, maybe guide you could guide us in doing some DIY projects at home?

I had 4 years of wood shop and was the wood shop aid in high school. Those wood ones are pretty interesting to me.

Watermelon, Honeydew (maybe), Pear (maybe).......I just can not figure it out

LOL Carolina Vapoor, it is not watermelon, Sir. I looove hearing you guess on the flavors. I wish we lived closer to each other so we could go to the local vape bars and sample flavors together. I am going to tune up the cantaloupe for you once you hit the second half of the steep and let me know about that. That one I assure is in fact cantaloupe... mostly.

So I have to say, you and Carolina are getting good at this. I will say it may or may not be those two flavors you just mentioned.. but it is possible that there is a slight hint of each of those lol.

Now you see why flavor testing and stabilization of an intended profile long term is such a pain in the..... If I sent you both the same flavor percents mixed into a 50 vg 50 pg you would both have entirely different ideas on what the flavors are..and of course it would still morph the longer it sat and melded together.

Pomegranate multi mix drives me nuts. It is something I have been working on forever but it takes a long long time to even remotely taste like pomegranate vs dog vomit. And it does not play well with a lot of the flavors I had intended.

On A good note my wife says the new flavor is ready to go. When she and my brother first vaped it the reaction was toss it, disgusting, you're crazy that stuff is just wrong. Now mind you I am always walking around and shoving a vape towards them going hey "try this". I mix in test stuff, steeped stuff, store bought other brands and what not so i keep it mixed up with them so they can't really ever know what is in the vaporizer.

My brother says never ever would he like this flavor. The wife says stop shoving this flavor in my face I hate it. Of course that doesn't stop me I still rotate it back in and trick them. This flavor took weeks to show signs of it changing forms. Some where around week 4 it smoothed out and I stuck it towards them and the misses says, "that's decent, what is it?" After another week or maybe 10 days I loaded it up on fresh coils and wicks and fresh battery. Handed it to her in passing in the hallway and her reply was to turn around and follow me back down the hallway to tell me "this is really good, omg I would vape that"

So from dog vomit and toss it to "omg I would vape that" in 5 ish weeks. Oh and I would vape that in our house means we would pay for it from another vendor if it was not a flavor we make.

So If you happen to get dog vomit for maybe 4 weeks, hang on to it a little longer. Cantaloupe sometimes goes away from a mix when it never had it in it in the first place. Thank god off the shelf it is pretty decent, but it does not in fact stick to that flavor as it melds over time. That is why we always say drip it when you get it. If it is something you like enjoy it. If not put it away. And why I always do not like to reveal the flavors because when someone looks for a particular flavor in a multi mix they get disappointed it isn't stronger or weaker or sweeter vs the image they have in their mind of what they are comparing it too.

I appreciate you being a good sport and working with the way I like to create flavors.

Funny I just put new coils on my Tobh because I dropped it and a leg broke on one of the coils. So after rewicking I added some CC to it and put in a fresh battery. It almost taste like I am getting a hint of cinnamon from time to time. Might just be coming from the new coils though.

I understand completely. A friend picked up a bottle of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream juice from a local B&M. He gave it to me the day after he bought it and told me if I could vape it I could have it. I took 1 hit and caped the bottle then put it in my looonnngggg term steeping drawer. I have tasted some nasty juice but this was by far the worst yet. It was bad enough that I completely forgot about it because I did not think it would be vapeable even after a month of steeping.

Anywho I was going through that drawer yesterday and came across it. Grabbed my notebook to see how long it had been steeping; right at 6 weeks. I figured well I will try it and if it has not got any better at all I will toss it. It had steeped into a pretty decent juice. I let him try it today and the first thing he said was please tell me were you got that from so I can order some. I handed him the bottle and told him I got it from him. Then the whole steeping discussion started and I think he finally gets why most juices need to steep and some for longer periods than others. Forgot to mention he is the type that is after something he can vape right away rather than waiting for it to mature.

So, what you're saying is, just away the bottle that says Dog Vomit and in five weeks it will taste good? We have cats, but there are two dogs that live next door...

Not that I'm complaining (because I'm really not), but what's to stop me from using Carolina's code instead of mine?

I wish I had a lathe. I enjoyed working on one in High School.
Wood ones are made with a hole saw & drill.
Granite one was made with drill & tile saw.

^ Or me since I don't have a personal code

That's the beauty of the codes, Heden. We can share them with others. So, I'm happy to offer you my code so that you may try some of RML's flavors. However, if Carolina offers you the same, which are you going to take? For that matter, if Carolina offers his to me, which should I use? Just sayin'....
