I feel like Max trying to spit something out...keep shaking my head and coughing...Lucky you! I've had more dry/burnt hits than I can count... especially when I was using cotton wicks. Rayon fixed that for the most part...

I want an SX board, too. I was very interested in the SX mini M class when it came out but I was just starting out in TC and never did pull the trigger on it. I couldn't justify the expense when I really only wanted to find out if TC was for me, so I got a 40W istick TC to break into temperature control and then I won the X-Cube II.Interesting... I really want to get one of the mods with the SX boards in it. I've heard that they are pretty solid and pretty accurate. They even have upgrade capability to input different coefficients for different types of wire... Ni200, Ti, SS, etc...
Lol, I know, right? I had had burnt hits before but not like the one I got from doing exactly what you did! Naaaasty. And in just over a year of vaping...that was my first burnt hit...ever... Oh my dog, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
Not that I won't keep trying!LOL! Bad thing is... it's kinda like trying to spit out your own tongue... ya just can't do it!

My favorite TC board so far is the one in the Cloupor, but I also liked the simplicity of the iStick 40w TC. I have a 100W iStick coming and that one is totally customizable so I am super excited to see how that one works! If it's anything like what I have come to expect from Eleaf it should be a very good TC device.

Lucky! I want an X Cube II so bad. I wish I had just jumped straight to that one instead of buying some smaller stuff to start out with. If I had know I was going to get laid off, I probably would have. lol
Yeah. The railroad cut pretty deep here. I was hoping it wouldn't last but a few weeks to a month. But I've decided to just find me something else now.
I haven't seen that one yet! I am going to look it up, though. The regulated squonker thing definitely has my interest! The Kanger one holds 10 ml!! I saw it at my local vape shop but I didn't get a chance to try it.Yep, I was looking at the SX mini M class as well... but dang that thing was/is expensive. And at the time I had no 'real' interest in regulated mods... definitely not enough to justify that price tag. Now, what I really want is one of the Tmods SX mods... regulated squonker with an SC TC board!
I would never had been able to get it without winning it. I got laid off last year, too. We were expecting it, though. For 2 years, actually, lol. Longest 2 years of my life! It was still a blow, but when my husband got laid off 3 weeks after I did (very unexpectedly) things REALLY got interesting, lol. Nothing cuts into the vape budget like everyone losing their job.Lucky! I want an X Cube II so bad. I know, right?? The only reason unemployment is going down in our area is because a lot of people have exhausted their benefits so they don't count anymore. New jobs are not being created, so people are moving in droves. A lot of folks went to work on the oil fields in ND (including my husband) but now that that's on the decline things are getting bad again. At least my hubby is working. Me, not so much.Damn, that sucks... we had 5 rounds of lay-offs here last year, and they are already talking about having another one soon... but if you ask the government, the economy is on the rebound and unemployment just keeps going down...![]()
Ugh, that sucks. You worked for the railroad? Are they giving you the opportunity to go back to school? That's what a whole lot of people here are doing, including me. I got very unlucky, though, and chose a program that I can't benefit from the extended unemployment benefits, so that well dried up already, and we made too much in 2014 for me to get any financial aid. How that has to do with our situation when I started school in the fall I have no idea, but all the cards were stacked against me. Now I have more student loans. I just hope it pays off in the long run. If I had it to do over again I would have just gone for my Bachelor's Degree instead of a certificate program. I want a career that is going to last longer than 10 years like my previous one did!Yeah. The railroad cut pretty deep here. I was hoping it wouldn't last but a few weeks to a month. I don't know what I'm going to do. I live in the middle of nowhere, so driving 30-40 miles one way for a job barely making over minimum wage almost isn't even worth it.
Same here. There are zero job opportunities for me here. My previous career is a dying field and my new career is too progressive for this area. If I want to work right now I will be making minimum wage and working 40 hours a week, which isn't going to work with school. I absolutely feel your pain. The struggle is real.I don't know what I'm going to do. I live in the middle of nowhere, so driving 30-40 miles one way for a job barely making over minimum wage almost isn't even worth it.
Yay!!! Happy news about the coil debacle! (Not that I even slowed down either!)
Yep, the whole job market is just horrible... and yes, I work in the oil-field service industry, so I know what ya mean there... fortunately, I've got pretty good job security because of the department that I'm in and the knowledge I've gained. I've kinda wormed my way into being part of the 'core team' that they can't afford to get rid of unless the whole company goes under... which is good, because if it weren't for the medical benefits that I get through work, I don't know what we'd do for my wife... there's no way I could afford to take care of her without our insurance.
I definitely hope things get better for y'all... I will definitely keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers. It doesn't seem to be getting any better out there... but I have to keep believing that things will turn around soon. As a country, we just can't sustain an economic downturn of this magnitude for much longer...
