No warranty. Had it 3 months. I let it set overnight. I put in a battery today and it started working again. I don't charge in mod. Would be nice to have a reset. Thanks
I glad it came back for you but I would not start dancing yet! When any type of electric device stop working and starts again most time that means that something is failing it's not just having a bad hair day the thermal protection for the board should not take more than 5 min to reset. Most of my PVD's I seen reset after some chain vaping in a matter of few seconds I would still give it a good going over. If it out of warranty try to find something YouTube and check to see that no ejuice has got inside and if it has I clean it really good with alcohol and use the good stuff as pure as you find 80% to 90% as you don't want to get water anywhere near the inside of the unit.
Now as far as charging. I charge a lot of my single 1865 mod with the onboard charger they work well enough but even on those I like to run them till the device says it's low and then charge them in a real charger twice a week.
For my mods that have 2 or more batts I do the same, but I note the voltage when they go in the charger if they come out uneven by more than .2v to .3v I will charge them every other day for a week and see if the discharge state gets closer, if it does then I only use the onboard charger with the onboard charger when I am on the fly and but when I get home then I put them back in the charger.
I have a few units that have never seen anything but there onboard charger like my Vapor Flask those screw in type battery covers all my box mod I make myself so the battery door is magnetic.
But I would make sure to check all you PVD's after the warranty is up for juice swapage Sometimes you will get up in the morning and for whatever reason at tank leaked or your dripper wept all over your stuff till the warranty is up you can't really open the unit up as in a lot of units have a seal and they can see if you been in there and if you have well your SOL Big Time!
