Yeah,if you had to re lock the resistance then i will most likely have to re lock the buttons too then, but that's easy enough, all i have to do is press the power and down button at the same time for like 5 seconds or whatever it is.The hard part will be remembering to do that each time haha.
I have used the onboard charging on a few other mods, and have thought about using it on this one,but now since i can't see the screen,i wouldn't know when it's done haha,so now i have to go from previous knowledge with this mod,i know i get 2 full days from a freshly charged set of batteries,so every other day i'll just swap them out.

Yeah, that makes sense. You can't see the battery life bar, so no idea when it would be full... My usb wall plug pushes 2A, so it hums a little when it is no longer pushing out, so it's easy for me to tell when it's done. It stops being quiet...

Oh yeah... I was mistaken. If you take the batteries out, you are screwed. It does NOT keep the settings, and you'll have to go through that again. Your best bet is gonna be to use the onboard charger. It does work VERY well, though it seems to cut off before the batteries get to 4.2V... seems that mine are usually around 4.12V or so when I charge through the mod. But the balanced charging circuit inside is very fast. It allows for 2A charging for each battery. :D

AWESOME!!! So, I guess one of us is gonna have to start a thread... I can prolly do that sometime tomorrow. Gotta head out of here soon and get some stuff taken care of. Hopefully you'll have it by Saturday, though! :D

Thank you! Yes, I do still love her dearly; and she, me. We've been through our fair share of rough patches, and we are still going through one. This whole cancer thing has put things into perspective for both of us, though. But at least we are fighting it together!

:D I feel the same way! I'm very grateful for all of the friends that I've found through here... a lot of them even feel more like family than friends... well... family that you actually like.

Excellent idea about the clear J-wrap! I need to remember to look for one of those... I'd also like to get one of the aftermarket silicone sleeves, because they cover the battery compartment, whereas the included sleeve does not.

How is your wife? Is she still doing chemo or is she done with that? I do keep her in my prayers still. There are a few of us battling cancer with our loved ones right now and it definitely sucks. Your wife is very, very blessed to have such a kind and understanding husband beside her while you guys walk through this. I truly believe attitude is half the battle and you two definitely have that part down! :)

Haha, I agree about the family we actually like! Our vaping family is truly amazing. I love us.

I can start a Fuchai thread if you haven't already done one. I don't mind a bit. According to tracking, tomorrow is Fuchai Day for meeeee! :D

Nice. I think mine held the temp setting, but it lost the pre-heat wattage setting, and I had to re-lock the resistance. I took the batteries out long enough to charge them on the charger, then put them back in. I wanted to see how much difference there was between onboard charging and charging them on the charger. Not much, so I'll probably just leave 'em in there from now on. Hahaha
Cool! I love having the option of on-board charging, and it's great that it doesn't take much longer to charge them that way with the Fuchai.

Ooookayyyy, so I went looking around the forum to make sure there weren't already threads for the Fuchai 213 and guess what? There are quite a few of them, lol! This one seems to have the most activity

Sigelei 213 owners thread

All of the Fuchai threads have haters in them but at least this one has more than a few fans!

I think you will really like it.There are several people on this forum and others that bash the Fuchai, saying it won't truly go to 213 watts, and some people saying the tc is no good, but i have no complaints at all about these mods.Of course,i never go anywhere near 200 watts,so i don't care if it hits 213 or not haha, and as far as tc,i don't use it,but have seen several people just like Kaezziel, who are very happy with the tc on this mod.
Whatever you do though,DO NOT DROP IT haha.

Yeah I was really surprised at some of the stuff people were complaining about! I never go anywhere near 200w, either, lol! I also vape mostly in VW, too. I have never really gotten good at TC and I get the vape I want from a .5 ohm coil (preferably ceramic!) at between 20 and 35 watts, so I think it will be a great mod. I was so sad when the mail came and went yesterday and I didn't get my Fuchai. Tracking never updated once it left Van Nuys so I got worried but I finally got an update late last night that it is just up the road a piece, so I should definitely have it tomorrow. Woot! :) And I will be veeery careful to not drop it, but if I do I will just ask you how many button presses I need to go through to get to where I want to be, k? :D

The Fuchai 213 was the first mod I've bought. I've seen a lot of hate on it but I love it. Feels right in your hand and has performed very well for me. I alternate between power mode and TC and have had no issues.
Very cool! My first mod ever was a 600 mAh Ego with a cleromizer, lol! :D Way to jump right into the deep end of the vaping pool and welcome to ECF, TinMan! :)

She's hanging in there. None of the traditional chemo treatments worked. :( We're trying to get started on a clinical trial right now, but we're having some issues with getting the meds. Prescription insurance denied coverage, so we're going today to submit the paperwork for financial assistance through the pharmaceutical company. To buy it out of pocket would cost somewhere around $10-15K per month! We also have to go to the pain management clinic this afternoon... they need to change her dosage or meds or something, because she stays in quite a bit of pain. :(

I know that there are quite a few of us around here that are either fighting cancer with our loved ones, and several others who are fighting it themselves. :( My heart breaks for each and every one, and all are held in my daily prayers! Cancer is a horrible thing, and there is just no good way to treat it. Someday, I pray, the treatment won't be so hard on the patient...

You're absolutely right! I love us, too!

Well, since ya found one, I guess I'd better just run on over to that one! ;) No sense in starting a whole new thread, I guess...

For me, it actually seems that the onboard charger is faster... at least, it is if you have a powerful enough wall wart. ;)

Welcome, TinMan! Daaaaanng... the Fuchai was your FIRST MOD?!!? NICE!! My first vape was a POS cig-a-like that I bought in a mall kiosk around seven and a half years ago... Smoking Everywhere was the brand, if I remember correctly. Man... what a rip-off that was! But it showed me the potential of vaping, and I've never looked back. :D

Sorry to hear about your wife hurting and going through what she is going through. Same for you, I know it's rough on the family members too.

I think it is a good mod. Just don't drop it as I would worry based on the construction IMO being a little flimsy.

My first mod was about as mainstream as you can get.. iStick 30 with a Nautilus Mini.

Made me quit smoking on the spot, so no complaints!

Thank you, Sir. Much appreciated... for us, it's been an ongoing battle for a while. November 1st will be three years since her diagnosis. At this point, she is classified as Stage 4; terminal. We're hoping that the clinical trial that she was accepted into will help to buy us some more time together, since none of the other traditional treatments seemed to help at all.

Ok,i may have been confused on the terminology. I thought mod was a box that produced high watts and required 1-3 replacable batteries.

I've been vaping for 2.5 years with pen like devices and kanger tanks. My last purchase before the 213 was a ileaf 20w with a nautilus x. So I've been doing MTL for several years.

The 213 with the Uwell Crown was what I considered a mod. Sorry for the confusion.

Hiya, Bre! Good to see ya makin' your way around the boards! :D

I hope you get approved for the financing for the clinical trial and hope it gives you more time and special moments together. Prayers going your way and if you don't dig the prayers I will definitely send some good thoughts in your direction.

No problem... depends on who ya talk to. I pretty much just call everything a mod (battery) or atty (topper). ;)

Back at you brother!

Hope all works out well for you guys.

Thank you much! :)

Man, thoughts, prayers, positive vibes, or dancin' nekkid in a corn field... we'll take 'em all! :D We appreciate the sentiment and are comfortable with whatever someone wants to wish us in whatever manner they choose to wish it. I think my own personal prayer list for friends and family (mostly from here) is about as long as my arm... and I write small! :p

:D

Okay so specific prayer for the clinical trial funding!!! I am so sorry the traditional chemo didn't work. Ugh, that's so frustrating. My dad's first chemo drug attacked his liver, and since the cancer is in his liver...well yeah. Actual treatment got started much, much later than I was comfortable with. Cancer was suspected in September, confirmed in December, and the treatment he is on now didn't start until June. He is also on a clinical trial list at Fred Hutchinson and they called last week to tell him they are having great luck with some new drug, but his doctors said his tumors are not small enough to start whatever it is. I will be praying HARD that you guys can get in on the trial. There have been a few major breakthroughs recently and I truly feel we are getting close to finding much more effective treatments that are much more tolerable than chemotherapy. I hope they can get her pain under control today and I will be praying about that, too! You guys have a lot on your plate right now. (((hugs))) to both of you, my friend.

Nice!! That's when you know you got the perfect setup. :) My Fuchai is apparently out for delivery right now. Wooooooot! I am definitely worried about dropping it, since I have already shown great propensity for fumblefingerism, so if my mod doesn't come with a wrap I might just use the bubble wrap until I can get better protection for it. :D

Ahhhh, okay, that sounds a lot like my own journey! I get it with the terminology, lol. My daughter, who started vaping a few years after me but doesn't live in my area, was calling her device a "vape" and I thought she was crazy! I called everything an e-cigarette, lol. I can totally see where you would call an advanced device a mod. I call everything either a mod or a vape these days. :D
