Wow that's great that your down to 3mg! I once tried lowering to 12 mg and couldn't because of the TH , so I have remained where I started. Common sense tells me that it has to be better to vape lower nic but I just need that TH. I too probably LI more then mtl and when I occasionally vape one of my old tanks, I just cannot believe how tight the draw were back then. Let me know what you think of roxys tank, I heard it was pretty good.
I did and I hope I got a bad coil. 1st they were gold and should have been silver so something funny there. They did say ss and .5 and .8 ohms so.....@nd it was rated for 30-65w and after an hour of break in if I went above 37w all I got was dry hits. Thank you soo much for doing that and now will start thinking of a purchaseOkay, so I mixed up a batch of 30pg/70vg 25mg nic and built a 1.25Ω dual coil setup with rayon in the Silver Play V2 (apparently the Orchid tank is cracked). At 25W there was DEFINITE TH! Coughed up a lung for a few minutes then tried it a couple more times. Then I loaded up a 0.9Ω Kanthal cCell in the Target with the same juice. 25W was a little weak because it's an older coil (2-3 weeks), so I bumped the wattage up to 35W. Still a decent TH to me, but not quite as much as was on the rayon/kanthal build. So, I guess I'd say that you'll still get some pretty decent TH with the cCells, but it will be a little smoother than it is with rayon.
I brought both setups with me to work today, so if there's anything else that you'd like me to try, just ask. I'm planning on just vaping the tank full that is in the Target, but I'll probably dump the SP after we're done testing.
One of the guys here at work is planning on ordering a Gemini tank that comes with a couple of SS cCells... he promised to let me try one of them if/when he gets it.
Well shoot. So letting it sit overnight didn't help, huh. I hope it was just a bad coil, too. I got a SS coil with the Simba tank and I was amazed at how well it worked in TC. I had all but given up on TC before that! I love you can switch between VW and Tc with SS. I love the kanthal cCell, though, so if they can't get SS right I am okay with just sticking with those. For now, anyway.
So, I got my Gemini tank last week and I love it! It's so nice having a top fill tank that runs cCells. The SS cCell is awesome. It has all the flavor and vapor as the regular cCells do. I switched out the drip tip on it because I got a custom tip I wanted to use for it, but it comes with 2 different tips and an adapter. I have had ZERO leaking with this tank, and it never gets hot. It doesn't even get warm, really, and that's with chain vaping. It's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Sinter on!!
The kanthal head and the SS one look very similar. The one on the left is the kanthal head and the one on the right with the square hole is the SS one. I wish they had used different colored O rings for the SS, but they you can definitely tell the difference.

I found a couple of places on Vapecrawler that have them in stock.
I'll probably start placing some orders in the next week or two. Main thing I want to pick up is more nic, but gonna be grabbing a few new rebuildables and a bunch of cCells. Dunno where these deeming regs are gonna land, but I absolutely do not want to find myself without my sintered ceramic goodness!
