Greencig Mint ... mmmmm...and some questions.

I've become a Greencig fan.

The Mint Tobacco is simply some of the best tasting vape there is. I absolutely can't stop vaping these carts. Sooo smooth, perfect throat hit, just divine.

I recently ordered a new KR808 auto battery from Drew to add to my Greencig stash and was delighted to see that it's way different from its predecessors. The draw is WAY better. I got mine in silver and the silver is different looking from the old ones -- it's a burnished finish, not actually shiny. I want to only vape on IT now since the draw is so improved.

Here's the questions:

What juice would replicate that Mint flavor? What's it filled with? I love all the NHaler juices (refill my KR808 carts with em) and have every menthol made, but they're not as sweet. Possibly that's because the Greencigs are VG-based. Nuport Hi Volt is good and very vapor-ish, but not quite as sweet and minty as what's packed in the Greencigs.

Now, I know it's hard to imagine actually LOVING a prefilled cart. But there you go. That's how outstanding these Greencig carts are.

The Green Tea flavor is also excellent.

Here's one more question:

I hear all these raves about the Greencig battery. Much as I'm loving the new KR808 auto battery, I sure would like to try a Greencig battery. How come they're not available singly? Every ecig model has extra batteries available for it. But not a Greencig? What the?

Michelle yeh so you like that Greencig mint huh. yeh its golden. you have to try the Orange too thats just as good. and yeh the prefilled ones. I have been trying to get this flavor too. What i use is Drews Mint Tobacco 24mg. Its pretty darn close and i am kinda content with that for my taste buds. Now what i am trying is to add maybe 1 drop per ml of a Loranns minty flavor to try to get it a hair better. so far what i get is too minty. The original gc prefilled mint isnt a regular mint flavor. i tried putting a drop of orange to it also tastes great but not exactly like the mint.
Now i want to tell you. i have Drews Mint Tobacco in a greencig cart and i have it in a KR808 cart and the taste is different in both. actually i think it taste better in the gc cart. it does taste good in the KR808 cart but like i always said from the beginning i think the insides of a gc cart has something to do with it tasting different. it is made so much better and i can understand why they charge 3 bucks a cart.
so anyway try the mint tobacco and let me know. I have had the gc carts since the beginning and i loved it back then too but Lori really helped me appreciate it so much more. also got help filling it from Snarkeyone. i use the syringe into the battery end 23 drops of Drews Liquid and i dont take a gc cart apart at all. it taste golden. i do it this way cause once i staryt taking the gc carts apart its not the same. for me anyway. hope this helps you Michelle. let me know cause liek i said Lori (needvapor) taught me a lot about these carts. Michelle i forgot to add. im not saying this so you go out and get one but if you take a greencig carto. put one on a kr808 battery and put same cart duplicate on a greencig battery you will see the difference. in taste and in vapor. isnt much difference but its enough to make you really get into it lol. I was gona say something else but figured i better not. anyway its that good. Not saying you wont get good taste with a KR808 battery but i think the greencig battery maybe has a drop more power i dont know. also when i use my Xhaler with greencig cartos i try to stay on 3.7 volts. the gc carts work best at this voltage. but i have used 5 v but ya gotta be careful cause then it starts to get really hot. ya have to use very short presses on the button. anyway Michelle this is my opinion with the greencig battery but even Drew mentioned before in a thread somewhere that the gc cart belongs with greencig battery or something like that. anyway i hope i was of some help to you. i actually enjoy the pre-filled cart flavors of the greencigs also. they are great mellow flavors that initially seem lacking. i'm not much of a menthol vaperer, but the greencig green tea and cherry flavors do surprisingly grow on you. i too wish the greencig batteries (just replacements) were much more readily available.

COS...I have never tried drew's mint tobacco because I thought it might taste like menthol....does it..or does it taste like peppermint? I am not a huge fan of menthol...but I love peppermint.

you can get kr808d-1 batteries they are compatible with greencig carts.

Thanks for the replies. Hey COS, I have actually ordered a Greencig kit just to try out the batteries since I've heard so much about them.

And guess what? Drew's Mint Tobacco is as close as I've come to replicating the Greencig Mint flavor as well!! Just ordered a big bottle with my GC kit that's headed my way.

The new KR808 battery in the burnished silver finish has a wonderful draw but does not charge on the PCC. Don't know why. It lights up solid red on its LED and just never charges. Charges great in the USB charger, though.

I've been taking the end caps off the Greencigs and injecting them with a syringe. Through the tiny punchhole in the bottom of the plastic shell that holds the filler. I've tried and tried to inject through the battery end but cannot get the needle to go in. So much resistance I'm sure I'm about to break off the needle tip. I may keep trying since others are saying it's do-able.

Oh yeah, I read - either on the Greencig site or on a package insert that the juice is PG, not VG. Amazing, with those clouds of vapor!

hey Michelle glad its working for ya. ok so you inject thru the mouthpiece side. thats fine. about how many drops are you putting in at 1 time? actually that is how Lori (needvapor) made the greencig mod. what she did was that tiny hole you inject the syring in well she opened that up a bit and drips thru that end. but she just drips only about 6 to 8 drops that way and every few hrs she just adds to it. she also replaced the polyfill with blue foam. The blue foam is Eclypse's idea. She said it works great. So she told me to try it and i did but it didnt work for me. i probably didnt do it right. maybe i put in too much blue foam cause i couldnt get a good draw from it. so i went back to doing the original way by using the syringe thru batt end. When she comes back from her business that she was working on she is going to show me what i did wrong. i would like to try it. she said the clouds of vapor are amazing. i get clouds of vapor the original way but i think that is from drews liquid plus the way the way the inside of the greencig carto is made. it is a superior carto in every way tahst for sure.
anyway enjoy the greencigs and yeh the Mint Tobacco is real close to greencig mint flavor. did you ever try the greencig orange? that is golden as well. im trying to find that also. i got some Loranns flavors and im gonna try to add some in some unflavored nic liquid and see. if i ever get it close ill send you some to try. same with anyone else. and of course Lori and she made me a few mods in the past and she used to be on the phone with me every other day lolexplaining things what to do and how to do this and that. she is a fantastic lady. and she lovesssssssssss the greencig so she knows every trick in the book.

Hey SpottedPony sorry i was kinda busy last few days so missed your question.
ok the Mint Tobacco doesnt taste like menthol to me. it does taste minty. im taking a few hits right now as i am typing to try to get a more accurate description. Dam its good. maybe between a spearment and a pepperment but i would say more spearment than pepperment. and maybe another kind of mint but no where near menthol. But remember our taste buds are different. and also remember this.
if you fill a KR808 d cart with Mint Tobacco and you fill a Greencig cartos with teh same exact Mint Tobacco, the taste will be different. thats because the cartos are made different i think.i dont really know but i asked a few p[eople are they agree also.
so try it. get a sampler 6ML bottle to try first. Hey if you dont like it ill trade you something for it so dont worry. and its only 4 bucks.

YESS!! My Greencig kit came today from NHaler -- woot!

That Greencig Mint is something special. Oh, my. Very minty and sweet tasting. While I agree Drew's Mint Tobacco is the closest, I wish there was an identical flavor available for refill.

But then, we'd have to admit that we refill non-refillable carts. Hah!! Not us!

Cos, do you have to push REALLY hard to get the needle into the battery end? I hate to get violent with it but it sure would beat prying off the end cap to do it that way. By inserting the needle into the bottom of the plastic cart holder, I can push in about 1/2 a milliliter of juice or perhaps a bit more, judging from the markings on my syringe. I push the needle in far initially, depress a bit, then back it out a bit and dispense a little more, and back it out a bit more, etc.

I'm sitting here right now with two vapes going -- one Greencig Mint on a KR808 battery and one on a Greencig battery.

Life is good.


I haven't tried orange. Will have to put it in my next order after all the raves, possibly vanilla too. The Green Tea is okay, but not even comparable to the Mint. The Western ... hmmm. Hopefully, it may grow on me. I'm spoiled rotten in tobacco flavors due to Drew's Kamel and Kent juices, I'm afraid.

I'm anxious to see how these batteries perform next to the KR808 batteries I've been using. I can already see that the draw is better - naturally, since they're made for one another.

I agree with FlattyFour that Greencig ought to make batteries/chargers available singly. That said, I'm sure they would be happier with us just buying new kits.

Hey Michelle. OK be careful when your putting the needle into teh battery end. what happens is it starts to go in a little bit then it hits a piece of metal. taht metal is what is holding together the wick. so what you have to do is kind of back off a hair then push it in again at a slightly different angle. just keep on doing it til it goes. but do not push hard. if you hit somethign just back off then try again. eventually it will go. after a while it will get second nature and it will go in fast. the way you fill the carto is teh way i fill them. add a few then slightly pull on teh syringe then slightly pull again as i am filling very slowly. this way all the liquid evens out nicely. you seemed to have the right idea. keep it up. yeh those gc batterys make the gc cartos rock. Im not knocking the KR808 batts at all but the gc batterys work harder to get vapor and TH it seems. there is a difference as you mentioned. oh yes i do agree.
yeh half a ml is about 23 to 25 drops. i put in exactly 23 drops and it is just below the 1/2 ml mark on he syringe by a hair. so thats a good fill. way to go Michelle.
and dont throw away the gc cartos when your done. save them. if you dont think your going to use the emptys for a while. just put in 2 drops of VG to keep the wick moist. or whatever else you have. even 2 drops of Drews HV will do it even the 24mg will too if you dont have any VG. Keep that wick moist and that sucker will last for months. like i said i previous posts i am still using the ones i bought in Sept. i got a pack of 10 cartos and i still have i think 7 left. the others i took apart and ruined. but now i can take the cart apart if i want to and then put it back pretty much the same way almost. not right on but i have no problems. after Lori (needvapor) gave me a few mods i tried to doa few myself. forget it lol. mine didnt come out as good.but listen you also did great when you filled it thru the mouthpiece so if that is easier for you do it that way.
whatever works for you.
ok its 1230 am gonna go sit on the porch for awhile finish up my 555 carto lol then watch some TV before i hit the hay. dam i dont sleep much. to bed around 3 am and up at 730. just cant sleep. maybe i should vape some of that sleepy time lol.
