Do you know if the engraved estia tanks will be in both polished and matte, and if they plan on just doing the Lord engraving?

Actually there's no plans of engraving the Estia tanks as of now.

Gus is doing brisk business with the Estia as it is, is unable keep up with the production and has no interest in messing with the operations any further ;) It's me who is pestering him for a Lord Engraved tank section (and now a Kiss version too)!

He however, has not given any indication whether he'd do it or not :(

A prototype fatty tank was made with the Gus Logo. It was sent to all the proto-testers. But has been discontinued with. And yes, I'm telling him yet to continue making them.

Well, I guess I can always send the tanks to him to do that with when it does happen..I'm sure I'll be ok with just a plain estia. *Sigh*, the sacrifices we make...

Honestly, the more I think about it the more I realize that "plain" has its benefits -- it can be after-market customized in a way that a vendor-spec engraving would compete with and be altogether wrong to deface. Granted I happen to know highly trained engravers, but almost anyone could design their idea and take it to a laser engraver -- but that would only be of benefit if you REALLY love to use the tank and REALLY believe in your design. Heck, there's always Vape n' Shine if you don't mind a long ... line.

edit** I wonder is Gus would do an engraving -- the free one -- on the ESTIA?

I think the tank metal may be too thin for the kind of deep engraving that a Lord/Kiss engraving would require.

Good catch on that. I have some ideas, but I have to get the tank first to see what the possibilities really are. There's always a way when there's a will, but it may not always be a way to get it any way you wish -- sometimes you have to work with what you got.

To a certain degree I think the "plain" design of the ESTIA is a nice rest for the eyes next to the visual interest of the mod itself. And inasmuch as I would love to at least see the tank with the LORD/KISS engraving, I think it may possibly be too "coordinated" with the corresponding mod.

Either which way, I got to vape the dern thing before I invest too much more thought on the looks.

Estia Review
By Patrick, from our Facebok page:

At ~26 minute mark when he is checking the resistance of the coils, can someone tell me why he is changing the + and - leads on the center post? Not to show my ignorance, but I may as well ask. I get that he is checking each coil's resistance, but I don't understand why he's changing the + and - leads back and forth on the center post.

I'm really considering getting a Gus Lord, and accompanying it with a Gus Estia. Could anyone tell me in their opinion if it's worth the money? Unfortunately, almost all the reviews I have seen are completely foreign and I can't understand any of it. The Gus Lord looks amazing, and I did watch a few reviews that left me happy with my decision on getting one. I can't however find a single english review or video on the Estia. Any help would be much appreciated!

How are you guys filling the tank without flooding it somewhat? Any pointers?

The process is exactly like the Aqua:

Close Air-holes > Close Juice Feed (if opened) > Remove top cap > Fill Juice > Attach top cap, but don't press it in fully > Inverse the Estia (drip tip facing the floor) > open the Air-holes > Now Press Fit the top cap > Let it remain in this position for a few seconds > Then get it upright and it's now ready to vape.
