For those that get motion sickness this travel season:
Did you know research has shown that ginger is more effective than Dramamine in combating motion sickness.

You can just put a slice of fresh Ginger in a cup of tea... or make your own Candied Ginger, like I do!! :D
It takes all day, but it's SO worth it... and it keeps just about forever in an airtight container... :)

A medical did you know for those who want to reduce thier chance at getting sick this year:
Having sex once or twice a week has been linked with higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin A or IgA, which can protect you from getting colds and other infections*.

*Medical note*
IgA is the first line of defence against colds and flu. It binds to bacteria that invade the body, and then activates the immune system to destroy them. In a study done by Dr Carl Charnetski, of Wilkes University and his colleague Frank Brennan, the results showed that participants who had sex less than once a week had a tiny increase in IgA over those who abstained completely. Those who had one or two sexual encounters each week had a 30% rise in levels. HOWEVER people who had very frequent sex - three times a week or more - had lower IgA levels than the abstainers.
