My pizzelle maker took a nose dive down the basement steps (pantry shelves at the top of the landing) - I never replaced it. Was surprised when I picked up what I thought was my mom's waffle iron...and it was her pizzelle maker
Don't know if I'm making them this year though - lox is starting to complain that there are too many goodies being made
Used to baking for a larger bunch.....daughter asked me about the "chocolate balls" - for the life of me and those I know, nobody knows what they are called - it's an Italian cookie - the recipe makes a huge amount of cookies - more than 20 dozen and it can't be cut. I double checked in the mirror and I can't afford to eat that many cookies![]()
Hurry this up already
Oh geez, I just started crying all over again. Saw the Dr. at the hospital thanking all the 1st responders and telling everyone they are no longer on alert. I am an RN, and my heart goes out to all of the staff at the hospital that immediately went on alert for casualties and received only 3, then the 2 kids died. The staff must be beside themselves knowing there isn't anything they can do. Such mindless tragedy for that whole town, from the police that had to see the massacre, to the hospital staff that waited to save lives, and of course to the families.
Yeah, they must be the chocolate Italian cookies! Yum!!!!!! The recipe I have is huge, too! Then, you ice them, just like the white anise ones.... mmmmmm!
The malibu is awesome! Lox ordered the twisted java too! I had ordered some samples when I was getting ALL of ISBN's Longhorne![]()
Mine!!! You can't have it!!!
Finally, the Fat Man has been trapped!!!
and is resting relatively comfortably. A couple more days and she should be back to normal.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes, we both appreciate it.
