Now we wait for the bills ! The ER visit was 15k!!!!! Thank goodness for the insurance agreed price and them paying 90%. Then 4 surgeries, an ultrasound this coming Tuesday and 3 Dr. Appt. This is really gonna cut into my vaping budget :(.

Oh lawd! That's craziness! It amazes and sickens me, how much healthcare costs!

Seriously! The CT Scan alone with $7500 - not including the cost to run it and read it of course. Once the insurance negotiated price is applied it's down to IDK I think $1500. What about the people who pay cash? The ones who actually do end up paying that is. They don't know they can negotiate and even if they can they don't get a price like the insurance companies do. The price should be the price, period.

Oh MrsCasey  sorry about all the bills.

Well I expect a pretty good tax refund next year, I just had different plans for it. Oh well, at least I am all better. Now I need to do a 24-48 hour monitoring thing with the Dr so they can tell why I develop the stones and then I can try to cut that out of my diet so I never, ever, ever get them again.

We should be on a single-payer health care system like the rest of the civilized world....
