Yes you're generally right, but I do really love the snow...in moderation...more than 3 feet is just ridiculous!

The ski hill near me used to claim 16 feet of annual snowfall... some melts, but the snowbanks were up lightpoles when I was growing up! Man, I could really build some good snow forts under there.... just had to watch out for snow plows caving it in!

Just saw some TV pundit tipping advice. If you did what they suggested you'd be out at least 1000 bucks. If you tip your hairdresser generously every time you go, do you really need to tip a full haircut/style at Xmas? What if they don't even know your name?

Doorman at $100 bucks each. What if you building has 5-6 of them to cover shifts?
