Assuming these are for standard cartos and do these use a o-ring on the inside of the caps for a seal or does it rely on just the cap to seal against the carto. How secure is this i.e. any play on the cartos sliding up and down or are they really tight fitting ? Just asking before I purchase as not alot of info on them on the site and since they are so new some more info would be greatly appreciated.

Also these are really some nice works of art :) and would look great on my provari:vapor:

Hi BigDaddy, they look great on a Buzz Pro as well! LOL

Yes there are inner o-rings to go around the carto and sliding is not an issue, as someone who started off with a Liquinator, the caps were designed to eliminate that issue. Later today we will have slide test videos and drop test vidoes posted.

We also offer a 30 day retiurn policy, visit the site to view the policies.

Mikes a pretty good guy to have competitors advertising on his forum. That was one of the first things I noticed about him. His easy going , good natured disposition. Kudos Mike.

Yes Mike is absolutely wonderful and I can not tell he how helpful his support has been since the inception of this idea!

Yes he is 5c. They are beautiful but expensive and they break-under my use.

Hi Fran - not sure how you handle your tanks so I can't make any promises as it is no secret that glass breaks... but I have been using one for well over a month now. It has tipped over as well as fallen from tables, night stands, desks and couches tons of times and is still all good! With a thick 3.2mm wall it is very rugged. The caps were also designed with breakage in mind to absorb some imapct. The annealing process also makes them stronger.

I will post back when the drop test videos are complete, we are working on them now.

I drop my VV's on concrete in hubby's garage. I've had my Buzz buried under several pieces of cordwood. I could go on-------------

I love them moorea!!!! Butterflies and peace signs trip my trigger. lol Can't wait to see them all. =)

I still haven't tried my M1A1 tank yet.....I vape VG and am thinking I will need a cut off wheel to slot them for better wicking, rather than punching them.

And why have you not tried your tank yet??

I hear you ... still watch the videos! I don't suggest anyone tries these things on purpose, but after finishing the videos ... even I was surprised.

OK ... the first two of several videos are up. The first one is an "accidental fall from a counter top onto a hardwood oak floor.

"Accidental" Fall From 3 feet on PV! - Phiniac Glass

As it turns out I take a pretty good phot, but not so much with videos!

And no Buzz Pro's were harmed in the making of this video. Not to say we didn't try, but the Buzz Pro is just that tough.

I'd just like to make a point here. $55.00 is not even close to being over priced for a hand blown tank of this quality. I paid $30.00 for an all plastic tank that the only labor involved in making it was cutting a piece of tubing.
I go through this with my furniture sometimes. There's a value in something being conceived, designed and crafted by an artisan over something being cranked out in a factory. If you don't appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship that goes into art objects then, by all means, you should buy a plastic tank. It will work just fine for you. The furniture that you buy at Art Van will serve you well enough too (mine has). There will be those that appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship.
Sorry about the rant folks. Pet peeve of mine. I'm an artist who spent 30 years working in factories so I understand the difference.

Oh yeah, I'd also like to say that Mike allowing moo to put this in here is more than generous. Especially since he sells a tank and also is going to carry glass ones. You're a class act Mike. Don't let anybody tell ya different.

Thank you Mist, nicely said. I didn't expect everyone to be interested, and that is why we included a clear pyrex with no design at a much lower cost.

As happens with these things, the next larger and MUCH nicer batch (lizards, skulls, butterflies etc.) will be delayd, our glass order is late so the oven is empty. But it will be coming soon.

What I do have is the rest of the videos. I hope you enjoy them.

Please note, while the tank wall is thick & should not break with accidental falls, this is glass and we do suggest you treat it as such!

Glass can take a lot of punishment. It's weak point is the edges. Tempered glass has an inner load and that's why it explodes into a thousand pieces when it breaks. Back when I was in the business the secretaries had 4x8 sheets of tempered sliding glass door glass under their chairs to roll around on and we never lost a one while I was there.

I love the tests. I'm wondering, do you let Chris out of that fenced area or does he have to stay in there?
