Handout Draft for the public

Please let me know what you think of this as a possible handout to those who ask me about my PV and the "smoke" they see. I cobbled it together from various other handouts I found at ECF.

"What you have seen is a battery operated PV—Personal Vaporizer or Electronic “cigarette” but it does not burn tobacco! The “smoke” is 99% water vapor. There is no second hand smoke. There is no fire danger, no lingering smell, no butts and no health risk for the user or bystanders. People using this machine are not smoking! So I handed out some of these. Most people don't want to read anything handed to them, even if they are seeking an answer to "What is that?" So much for that idea

It has now been reduced to a verbal "It is water vapor...completely harmless to you and me. Helping me to stop smoking cigs." A few smokers get a bit more detail.

I love the folks who still cough when they see the vapor...idiots.

Well what I do when they cough is I tell them "If you think thats bad" I let out a loud gaseous emission from my buttocks then say "try that on for size" And walk away with a smile.
