Hardware Reluctance....

I don't know about you guys but I'm getting reluctant to buy any new hardware because of the uncertainty in the vaping community about impending Federal regulations. It seems that the Govt. has suddenly become the enemy of freedom and the anti-everything liberals are just going wild banning and taxing to death everything they don't like or perceive they might not like because it substitues for something they don't like. The repeated attacks of the FDA prove that the zealots who have been brainwashed to follow the commie-liberal agenda will never stop until vaping is dead or taxed so high it is no longer an alternative to smoking.
Lots of the new things being offered or up-coming on GotVapes are attractive to me but I keep thinking I would be investing in something that may soon become a useless hunk of metal if the FEDS keep it up.
What say you? Are you going to keep buying or hang back? I'm hanging back right now...

I'm going to continue to talk to my representitives both local and national, join the community in fighting to keep vaping legal, and in the mean time enjoy the new enhancements that are coming to the market.

BTW, most of your local, state and federal representitives are accessable and hold regular town meetings and meet and greets. Get to know them and educate them. They are not the enemy, they are for the most part just uninformed.

i'm more leaning toward buying supplies...just can't decide what to buy.. just hope GV drops the new products coming soon..

don't want to be SOL if the $#!% hits the fan.

(can't decide if i want to invest in a provari.. or an evic + tesla + Vision vv/vw)

They have more impact than you may think. They can make it difficult to open vape shops and determine where you can and can’t vape. They are also the people that host the bigger fish when they’re in town and by getting in with them you have a MUCH better chance of getting one on one face time with said bigger wigs.

Yes, right now the FDA is a HUGE concern, but as far as the long game goes every level of Government is important too. I’m on a first name basis with my Congressman, but have no access to anybody that matters in the FDA, so I plant the bugs in the ears I can get to.

we will know in april just how far they go, but for now stock up on rebuildables and juice
wire and coil and mesh, and just in case something goes down, you will be covered while vendors make the appropriate changes. some will avert any issues by not calling it ecigs and selling 0nic juice for personal vaporizers, so i wouldnt worry to much

Right now I'm heavy on juice and cartos that I KNOW work. I'm not so concerned about the "newest flash in the pan"...which is heart-breaking because that takes out the fun and makes it survival exercise...

yeah...you can laugh and chuckle and say"Yeah...ole Keyboard IS a fool!" But I've seen all this before. I said "Oh..the Feds can't touch cigarettes...too many smokers and the industry is powerful". yet look at us now...dwindling...going to e-cigs...taxed to oblivion...socially ostracised...going to be taxed extra in Obamacare (oh yeah!). The e-cig industry is a PIP_SQUEAK compared to big tobacco! The FEDS are gonna roll over us like a big wave...and soon...

Really, you worry too much. What have you ever seen our government do that did not take at least a year to get partially rolling. They tax the hell out of everything else we do and they won't stop til they get some rolling in from e-cigs some way. It's inevitable. Doesn't mean vaping will stop. It will just cost more like everything else thay get their grubby little paws into. I don't want to pay more, but I'm also not going back to cigarettes, it is what it is. Right now a cash calf. Soon to be a cash cow.

True. These are just some thoughts I am having right now. I'll bet others with a brain are having them ,too. Assuming the govt. is bulky and slow doesn't fly any more. Stuff changes overnight. I'd keep my eyes open if I were you.
