Has anyone/any establishment stopped you from vaping?

I have never been told that i can't vape some place but i also try to be respectful about it. If I am in a place that does not allow smoking I'm not going to vape. I will go outside or in the bathroom.

My girls friends restaurant won't allow it indoors

Every Casino in Southern California except one has restrictions on using ecigs. People, myself included, still use them indoors but blow the vapor into their shirts.

I just realised i have not gone out to eat or anything in the last 4 months since i have been vaping. I guess its time to get rid of the kids and take the wife out for the evening.

Have you gone into a restaurant/bar/etc.. and have had an employee stop you from smoking?

I thought more and more people would know about e-cigs and the vapor they produce, but I've heard a few friends being told that they can't even vape inside the establishment. From what it sounded like, it was just a powerhungry manager
"you can't smoke in here!"

"it's not smoke, it's vapor"

"you can't do that either! "

It's incumbent upon those of us who vape to educate ourselves so we can educate the uninformed before just going into an establishment and start vaping.

First, don't use the term "smoke" as in "have you been stopped from smoking"!!! We need to do all we can to distance ourselves from vaping being confused with smoking.

Second, join and support CASAA. On the CASAA web site you will find many articles, studies and aids to educate yourself and be prepared to educate the uninformed or misinformed.

Third, many of us advocate vaping openly in most places but to do so respectfully and with common sense.
