I've been smoke free for nine days now. :) For the first three days I had my e-cig I slowly smoked the rest of the analogs I had left. The fourth day I was out of analogs but both my batts died and I had to borrow a couple analogs from my mum while we were out. Now I'm more careful about keeping the batts charged and I take my charger with me everywhere. Analogs are already pretty gross to me.

I <3 my e-cig!

Just wondering how many people have completely quit smoking, for how long, and how they feel in comparison.
I have smoked for about 12 years and have cut back from a pack a day to 8 cigs a day, so i think with the ecig I can stop completely, but my husband smokes alot and has a really bad smoker's cough, so I'm hoping if he can quit on these.

I've smoked for 15 years. In the past 9 months I've been smoking 10 to 15 cigarettes a day, down from the pack a day I was doing for most of the 15 years.

I had my last cigarette Monday morning. The first two days I had the occasional urge to smoke an analog, but I'd just puff on my disposable PV and the urge would pass. Although it's only been four days, I'm far more hopeful about quitting by vaping than I ever was with other methods I've tried over the years.

I think it's the habit, the ritual of smoking, that I'm most addicted to.

I technically quit smoking using of all things the Njoy brand NPro device. However about a month after I bought mine, I lost the atomizer, and went back to smoking analogs until I came here and read about the Prodigy by PureSmoker. Since then, I have been without smoking again for over a month now, and have had no desire to smoke a combustible cigarette.

When using the Njoy however, I did crave cigarettes, but my commitment to quitting was so high, that I could make it work, but when using a "real" electronic cigarette device such as an 801, 901, 510 or Prodigy, my cravings are satisfied, my desires are all met, or superseded by the superior smoking experience that vaping gives.

I quit for a year with the use of Wellbutrin ( Zyban). It worked well due to the fact that initially it made me not like a cig. I still had withdraws but they weren't bad on the meds.

Eventually the dosage I was on I appeared to get used to and I started craving cigs again.

I quit more or less on the first of October. Had a few on and off but was mostly on the gum. Then I finally got my 510 in the mail on the 15th. Havent had a cig since! 4.5 days!

Honestly I was done with analogs so the switch has been very welcome and pleasant. I'm just so excited that I get to keep smoking but do it a new way thats wayyyyy better for me I haven't even thought of having an analog.

I'm in heaven!

You really have to want to quit to do this - and as others have said, the first few days can be rough because you are addicted to more than just nicotine from analogs, but it is soooooooo worth it! I went straight from analogs to vaping last month and it was way easier than any other method I've tried.
Good luck to you and your husband - it would be the best decision you ever made to switch to vaping!!!

I didn't have an analog for 2 months after buying my first pv. Then i got a job at a bar. I picked up an analog, then another....then my atty died. So I bought a pack. I've been switching back and forth for several weeks now. I'm really upset about it. But I'm learning about myself, and my addiction, and that is a good thing. I've learned to always carry a spare atty, battery, and my charger. I've learned that cutting the liquid with 0mg needs to be done patiently. And I've learned that my lungs REALLY do feel better after a few weeks of not smoking analogs, which is a huge motivation for me.

the signature says it all! Oh I tried to cheat but cigs tasted like burning trash!
my deal is to quit vaping soon, I don't want to trade smoking for vaping. I want freedom. No nic vaping is my next step, I've been trying some homemade no nic juice, I think if I go with cherry flavoring I might be able to do it!....no cigs for>>>

If you have a really good quality E-cig Quiting should be really easy, I have tried everything over the years and nothing I mean nothing has worked until I purchased my Vapor4life kit, This company realy has the best I have found, I purchased 2 others from different companies and was still smoking anologs but after the first day of using the
V4L E-cig I was done anologs for life.
