So I was at VapeBash over the weekend and picked up a ProVari Zombie Edition v2.5 from CigTechs which is one of my local B&M and when I got home and unpacked it and all the other goodies I noticed that there was something different about it, something that I hadn't seen on any other ProVari. I did a search and found nothing like it, I looked at pictures and YouTube reviews and they all looked the same except for mine. Anyway what makes it different is that is has airflow grooves/channels

I went by CigTechs to check out the shop since I've never been there and they are literally in the next town over and asked them about it but they didn't even know about it. They compared it to the ones they had there (non zombie edition) but they were all the same as the other ones with no airflow gooves/channels machined. They just said it much be a new update or something. Has anyone seen this before or was there an update? What do you guys think? Btw I also checked the provape website and the zombie edition they have online doesn't have the channels either.

That would solve one of the two things that prevented me from buying a Provari in the first place...hopefully its in future editions.

(p.s. nice phone...I love mine :) )

Yes I think this feature would draw a lot more people to it because it solves a design flaw that fans have been asking a fix for. lol and yes it's a very nice phone specially now with kitkat update it's faster than before.

All new ones are shipping like that. They are all shipping in a nice foam lined box as well instead just wrapped in bubblewrap and thrown into a Priority Mail shipping box.

This makes it nicer if you are "gifting" someone a Provari.

A V3 would be interesting. Of course I think this rumor comes about every year.....but we'll see.

My first Provari has given me excellent service for close to two years, so I bought another one. It arrived today. It came in that nice box and does, indeed, have those four grooves. Nice feature! Also, those swirling grooves on the tube give you a better grip on the PV than the simple grooves do.

A lot of people don't like the "crop circles". I prefer them to the vertical lines on the V1 and V2. The vertical lines are just boring in my opinion. I do like the mini as well.

My Provari does have the channels. The mini I have doesn't. Bought them 2 days apart.

Mine also. I have a black and white provari that has the slots and a black mini that doesn't. Weird thing is the tank doesn't sit flush on the one with the slots. It leaves a small gap eliminating the need for the notches. Tanks do sit flush on the mini without the slots, where the slots would actually help so I can see why they added them. I think the center pin is shorter on my mini thus sitting flush. The full size pin looks longer and what is preventing the tanks screwing down to flush.

I use aerotanks anyway so it don't matter but it does kind of bugs me the newer one doesn't sit flush.
