I haven't had a smoke in three years, and have never wanted to return.

I let my cigalike batteries drain out one day by accident, about 3 weeks into vaping. I convinced myself that I wouldn't last the couple of hours it would take to recharge the batteries, so I took a ride down the corner to buy a pack. I tried to smoke one on the way home in the car and I instantly got nauseous after a few puffs. Through the cig out the window, and threw the pack of cigs into the waste can when I got home.

I've always imagined a cigarette would taste like a full ashtray of butts. I was correct.

I smoked 2 yesterday, yesterday was a party day in holland, King's day (aka Queen's day) i got wasted and thus smoked 2 sigs in total. Can't remember the taste but i didn't seemed to mind at the time.. :/ But sometimes when i am sober (haha, that sounds so wrong :) ) i do take a puff from a friend who is smoking and funnily enough a sigaret tastes burned..
You! Take good care of our Maxima... In her heart, she's still Argentine! Greetings from Buenos Aires!

I had a .... maybe 6 months ago, not cuz I was craving, simply cuz a friend of mine was smoking my old brand and I said let me try one of those again...gotta be honest, I still enjoyed it...tasted a little funky at first but by the end it was ok. Haven't had one since tho...I'm over all the little things that kept me craving cigs so I'm good

I recently took on a project of building a 36x12' deck, with roof and two staircases. I hate to say it, but when I worked construction when I was younger, I smoked and worked at the same time. I learned I couldn't do that with a mod...not the same satisfaction and I had to stop working to vape, so I bummed a couple of smokes from a buddy. I didn't love them at all, but I loved getting my cravings met while I worked. Once the deck was finished, I was done with smoking 100%. Luckily, I have no construction projects in the near future :)

I'm always going to be a smoker. Vaping never really cut it for me, I never got the same feeling out of it. Still I do it because after a heart attack I can't smoke any more. When I'm freaked out I do buy a 10 and smoke it. I miss it dearly, and the more vaping supplies I buy, the more I miss my cigs. And I've been mainly vaping for almost a year!!!

Yes, I will sometimes succumb to the urge. Gets it out of my system for awhile. Refuse to beat myself up about it. Did it for over 30 years. Does taste awful. The Vape after is so much better. Will I go back to the pack+ a day? Not as long as juice is available. Gotta have that nic, addict that I am.

I have not had a cigarette in about 7 weeks. There is a part of me that wants to have one, and lately it has been tougher. But the recollection of those aspects I didn't like about "being" a smoker that tends to put me off. For a long time, I vaped and smoked, hoping the smoking would start to taste bad--it didn't happen for me. That sort of scares me, and it has encouraged me "work" at switching entirely to vaping.

Don't do it. Just stay away from them for now. After a year or so, you'll wonder WTH you ever saw in the things. But after only seven weeks, yeah, I could see a possible relapse.

For a while I also got that little voice, that little nudge, but I'd just recollect -- ohh, vaping! Grab my mod and go to town. Now when I feel the nudge, it's telling me I want a vape, not a smoke. :D

I had a dream about vaping/smoking last night, I just remembered. Glad to know I was vaping in my dreams, too -- I guess my subconscious has finally figured out that nudging me to cigarettes is a non-starter. :D

Weird. I had a similar experience after vaping for about two years. In the dream, I was walking in to work. Looked down and was really surprised to see an analog in my hand! What is THIS? I thought to myself...hell, I don't want this...and I ground the cigarette out under my boot and kept walking...and woke up.

That's when I knew I was done. I don't smoke anymore and I never will again. I know, "never say never", but it's not so much that I SHOULDN'T smoke..it's that I don't wanna.

A few months ago I had a variation of that dream; I was sitting in a car, smoking a .... right down to the ...., and I suddenly realized, why am I doing this? and I ground it out furiously -- and woke up right after, so the dream stayed with me. Nothing like waking up with a smile on your face and a big ol neener to BT. :D But after that, now in dreams I'm always vaping, not smoking. I do think that "put it out furiously" dream is a major turning point... like the subconscious recognition that that part of life is gone.

I haven't tried one since I quit. I'm not afraid of them though, they just seem kinda pathetic after two plus years of scrumptious vaping.
I still have one maybe a couple of times per year.
It's nice to reach a point where you aren't afraid of them.

7 months ago I quit smoking and a few hours later I started vaping. I smoked about half a cigarette 6 months ago. I didn't intend to smoke any more cigarettes after that, and I probably would've kept vapin', but who knows? The cigarette didn't taste or smell bad, I just thought there was no reason to re-light it..
