Six+ years vaper here.
On the day I made exactly one month vaping, I bummed a cigarette from a friend.
It did not taste bad that time, but it was... weird.
It felt like going back in time 20+ years. Back to that narrow time window when you can inhale the smoke without making a fool of yourself by coughing

but that smoke still feels very heavy in your lungs. I felt like a recent smoker after smoking for almost 25 years.
I thought that was a good sign. My lungs were finally being able to get rid of all that junk.
Six months into vaping, I bummed a cigarette again.
Did not even finish it.
Of course, quitting smoking in a day and an half, without resorting to dual use, was the key here.
On the first weeks, it felt like the vapour from my e-cig (a modest, almost "cig-alike" Janty Dura at the time) was gradually becoming thicker. Well, it wasn't, of course. My lungs were clearing instead.
Today, my Kayfun's vapour fells like a cigarette back then. A tobacco cigarette would probably feel like half a dozen cuban cigars all lighted up at the same time and smoked with deep lung hits.
