Has anyone tried felt?

I've used the blue foam, and like it quite a bit.

I walked past a crafts section at the department store this afternoon and noticed sheets of various colored felt, including white. They're cheap, less than a buck. So, I picked one up and thought I'd try it as a cart fill replacement. But I apparently left it in my shopping cart.

Has anyone tried felt as a filler? Or, would it be just like the stock filler and no benefit, I wonder.

I'd be worried about the dyes. Even the white felt may have some chemical gunk... The stuff they sell at Walmart is pretty cheap stuff.

Oh, yeah. I had actually considered dyes and figured the white would be OK. Maybe not though.

i have thought about using felt. i did pull apart a green smoke cart and thats where i got the idea from but the felt that i have is a bit too thick

i just picked up some felt yesterday and using it as a plug. so far no leaks and i might try and pick up some of the coloured ones to colour code my juices by the felt colour.

purple = grape
brown = coffee

and so on no more lucky dips when it comes to changing carts
