Has Anyone Tried Using the DC Clears with a Liquinator Tank?

I just got a Liquinator and so far I'm really loving it, but I'd like to know is if I can use the IKV DC Clears with it. I think it would look really cool, but I haven't seen anyone do this yet.

What do you guys think? Should I just poke a couple nail holes in one and give it a go?

I thought about doing that but I'm afraid that maybe the tube would get cracked when trying to make a hole. I'm curious what you discover...

A heated nail should take care of any cracking. Anyone still have a BIC lighter mwahahahaha

The outer diameter of the clears is slightly bigger. Dont believe it can be fitted.

Speaking of BIC lighters I couldn't light my charcoal last year (1st BBQ) had to go to store and buy a stupid BIC as I had tossed all mine out

fsroq was right. The diameter of the clears is too large to fit inside the end caps. I'm so disappointed, but hoping that something will come out soon that will allow these to be used in the tanks. Sorry, guys! I tried!

I betcha the SS DCs would fit though no need for clear as the carto will always be properly wet submerged in a tank of liquid

Switched is right, the SS 510 duel coils fit very well and you already know that's what they sell with the Liquinator.

My problem is this ... I've gone to several vendor sites and for some reason its hard to find any that have the Mega SS - but the black is plentiful.

I finally broke down today and ordered some of the Mega 510 SS from the maker of the Liquinator.

Hard to understand why the Mega SS cartos are so hard to find though.
