oh i miss socal so much sometimes... with the exception of traffic. lived in manhattan beach and worked in sherman oaks. only 35 miles via the freeway but took me 1.5 hrs in the morning and 2.5 hrs in the afternoon to get from home to work and back again.

It's nice I Guess but I'd Move out of So-Cal in a Heart Beat.

I did my lower units in Northern California, Santa Rosa. I miss the Smaller City Feel and being able to Trees and Mountains that Aren't on a Billboard.

Nice. I lived in Irvine for awhile, then Lake Forest.
Back home in San Diego now though, for good.
:)

That's Funny.

Because yesterday I rode my Bike From Orange, thru Tustin & Irvine, down to the Irvine Amphitheater area and back.

You could move to Georgia ... you know it's on your mind! :)

I've got relatives in Cali, cousins, uncle; granny used to live in Clairemont ... I haven't been out that way myself in a long time

I knew someone from Georgia and he said that there are some Very Beautiful and Mellow places there.

My only tie to So-Cal now is Work. A little late in my career to think about Relocating. A tad early to think about Retiring.

People tell me that the Weather is Nice. I guess? It's All kinda the Same. And we have Beaches where one can Film a Blu Commercial on.

But we also have 10 Million people trying to get from Point A to Point B on Roads/Freeways meant to handle 4 Million People.

Just too many Damn People and Not Enough Trees. From my house, you can point the Car in Any direction and Drive for an Hour and Never leave the City. In some Directions, Many Hours.

If you buy Blu you are helping to kill vaping.

BT is using the money made from The Blu line to fund legislation to categorize e-cigs the same as analogs in terms of public policy.

THE ANYWHERE message is the giveaway. It's like subliminal messaging but instead it's obvious, so much so you don't notice it at first. YOU CAN DO THIS ANYWHERE... ANYWHERE... like at the preschool, in the hospital, in the theater, on the bus, in the gym, at the eatery ANYWHERE, including in front YOUR face.

The bearded actor is really there to make non-smoking people afraid vaporizers are about to take over the planet. You know the people that were so proud when they got everyone believing that second hand smoke is killing babies.

In real life most people extend the same courtesy about vaping as they did with analogs. In real life a person should be able to ask another, "hey can you not do that right here?". But it's America when THE LAW tells you EXACTLY how to act.

I see.

Yes, I think you Might be On to Something.

It is all a Plot by Lorrilard. And all it took was for them to Spend 135 Million to buy Blu. Pretty Shrewd.

And to think Most of Us just saw it as a way for Lorillard to Jump on the e-Cig Train.

Yeah, I know I sound paranoid but I've convinced myself I'm right ;^)

Seriously though, $135,000,000 is just operating budget for BT. Yeah, they are jumping on the train, then paying the conductor not to interrupt their business luncheon with the Railroad tycoon, who may also be a legislator.

BT will still take profits on it's fledgeling Blu, but the long term agenda is to preserve or at least extend the life of the tobacco market by essentially bolstering the public stigma against smoking and solidify the perception that vaping=smoking. The profit margin on a carton of smokes vastly outweighs putting out a new MOD. Plain business sense would make $135million a sound investment, if it can promise any return on the $35billion in profits tobacco took last year.

Who is Paying the Conductor? Isn't the Railroad Tycoon, BT? Isn't the Conductor, the Legislator? Who is Driving the train and Where to? Who is Sitting at the Table?
and Most Importantly, Who What are they having for Lunch?

...

If you Convince yourself you are Right on an Issue than you No Longer have the Ability to see Other Possibilities. And that can be Very Problematic.

And to Compound this, something like the Future of e-Cigarettes is not being Driven by Only One Group who has One Agenda and One Motivation. There are Many Dynamics at play here.

I know it would be Nice to draw a Big Box around something with a Black Marker and say “There is the Reason” or “They are the Ones”, but life Most of the time Isn’t that simple.

e-Cigarette Policy, Safety and Perception is a Good Example of this.
