dl takes some getting used to...when I started out I couldn't at all...I could only hold the vape in my mouth then exhale
as time went on I was able to slowly draw a bit into my lungs
then it became harder to find my et drippers and had to go with a different rda but that was years ago and everything was made for cloud chasing :( so I had to learn the hard way
went through quite a few rdas until I by chance won the profile in a contest and fell in love, now I own like 6 of them
though looking back at a lot of my issues was probably also caused by pg, once I started mixing my own and using max vg, dl became a lot easier, i mean it still gets me sometimes I do have asthma so there's that and I can't vape hot vapes or i will hack up a lung...
so I mean, it's all trial and error until you find what works for you....but the good part is there are plenty of folks in this forum to help give advice :)

This forum is where I learned everything I know/knew about vaping. I’ve been out so long I didn’t even know they had a mail ban going on. Now I got to explore the brick and mortar shops for a good juice. Got several local so I should be able to find a decent RY4 and a few others. I’m trying some nic salt also. Sure cures the craving for a stinkie.

I've tried the holic, the etna, the berserkers v1 and v2 rda's and found them all to be good for mtl single coil vaping. The etna is my favorite but hard to find now. The holic has very adjustable airflow, many options and no inserts needed of any kind for the airflow. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them though.

Also for a reasonably priced squonker i went with the pico squeeze 2. Works very well and decent battery life since its a 21700 single battery mod.

Draggin my feet.........still using the old Nautilus and Boge Cartos with the old SVD's Got a bunch of them.

Nothing wrong with that. As long as it works for you and you have enough supplies to last you for as long as you intend to vape, that's all that matters.

Found my perfect rda at a local vape shop today. A Hellvape Rebirth rda. Comes with a squonk pin, single coil only and an adjustable airflow that goes from break a rib to wide open. (Maybe not break a rib but it’s a tight draw). First build turned out to be 1 ohm. I may go lower tomorrow. Not sure yet. Juice well is deep enough not to spill over. I think the spec said 6 mm deep, but I’ve been wrong before. And I didn’t have to order it. A major plus for me

I’ve been away from vaping for about 7 yrs. I don’t have any of my old equipment, which now I miss very much. I’ve been trying to get back to vaping for health reasons, and having to learn all over again. Everything is dual coil. I NEVER used dual coil, but I’m trying to learn. I got a Vaporesso PM40, a Drag S a hcigar vt inbox and a POS squonker that I’m using for a dripper (reviews said they leak and short out causing me to fire by their self. I joy cappo squonk box).
Do I figure dual coil watts and amps like I did my single coil builds. I never got into the low sub-ohm thing. Maybe 0.9-1 ohm.
It’s good to be back in ECF again.
I noticed that the requiem RDA has been mentioned and what's really nice about that is it can easily take a smaller sized coil but it comes with three top caps so you can go for your mtl you can go for your dl with really big openings or you can go in the middle which would be the restricted dl and is my personal favorite. It's really easy to build on the only issue I would think could be a problem would be for people who like to use higher wattage. The air flow inside the chamber is really close to the coil which makes the flavor really nice but if you have a huge honking coil in there and you're vaping at 80 watts it might get a little bit too hot for the thing that they're calling ultem which I'd be willing to bet my kidney probably isn't lol.

The only reason that I really even mentioned anything about it is because it has managed to replace many other RDAs as my favorite. And it's cute or at least I think it is. It's also pretty cheap I think I paid $25 plus shipping but that was before the shipping price is kind of went up

For an RDA I like the vapefly galaxies, it can be a more restricted MTL or you can remove a screw for a little more airflow..

I also like the KRMA a lot. A real flavor chaser that one - it's on sale half off at Mission XV

KRMA RDA » MISSION XV

The galaxies is less expensive, but I think you have to order it from FastTech atm...

There are some various knock offs that can be tried if you order from them... @AngeNZ has more RDA's I think, I bought about 10 and settled on those two as my favorites, but she bought a couple I never tried but should have.. just can't remember the names atm.

I've tried to reach them over at missionxv.com (re shipping status) to no avail. My cart patiently awaits.

Good luck. :)

I saw that on a video last night after I posted. My bad for jumping the gun with my post. Maybe I’ll try and do a dual coil in it today. Being retired I don’t have anything else to do.
Any way you build it, as long as it works for you is what counts...
