time to stock pile worst part is nic only got a shelf life of 2 years

Justin Collins, there's good evidence that unflavored nicquid kept in a freezer can survive for much longer than two years. Flavored e-liquid at room temperature only has a lifetime of six months to a couple of years, depending on whom you want to believe. After that, the flavors start to go funky. Freezing doesn't help flavored liquids: freezing will alter the flavors too.

You might want to stockpile high-strength unflavored nicquid in little glass bottles in your freezer, then DIY as needed. Nicotine dissolved in either PG or VG will not expand when chilled, so glass is safe.

Search these forums for more tips on long-term nicquid storage.

Just like humans to start to panic at the first site of bad news. Closing 1 supplier down is definately a huge blow to this fast growing community, however, it's just 1 supplier. If it snowballs, I'd be worried, too. Let's be calm & think how to strike back with intelligence. JC was my first vape & I'll always remember that for the rest of life. Thank you, Juicy Clear - you were the one that saved my life.

Unfortunately not true :( Nicotine in its purest form doesn't have a shelf life perse. But our liquids have the shelf life of its carrier. 1.5 yrs for VG and 2 yrs for PG. The freezer only helps a little. Wrt flavourants, yes liquids then become victim to their shelf life, which in most cases is a year - even in the freezer

Truly Health Canada Needs to look at the world changes that has taken places when it comes to vaping. The equality Juicy Clear made an effort to offer us shows what a small group can offer. It is a sad day. But all the best to them and here is hoping Health Canada will realize it's flaws in what it is trying to do. They are simply delaying the future and stopping people who desire this type of solution to smoking will only be denied. It isn't perfect no BUT it is so much better and some people cannot take the medications. They can cause problems for some and for those who do not want to give up the social aspect, vaping is a wonderful middle ground. Men with ED improve, heart issues and forget about cancer patients? Great choice Health Canada. Your failing the very job you are in place for.

Well, I still haven't calmed down enough. But I'm not going to rant here. Instead I'll just say we will miss Juicy Clear terribly, James, and I hope you'll stick around here as a user and fellow vaper, at least. After your worldly travels, anyway. :) I really hope we can get some action going to help prevent more closures. We can't let this sort of thing stand.

Good luck, James.

Just thought I would clarify something on here, the first time we shut down was to avoid getting a letter by HC, however this time we have been shut down and it will be permanent. I am taking my ball and going home. The industry has changed alot since I started this and my shut down this time WAS done by HC although it was done differently then other vendors they have shut down.

I do thank those here at ECF and the Canadian vaping community. Oh and to clear up one other missconception, the site that I started for DIY crowd has not been in my control for awhile and to avoid confusion has been suspended in the meantime. If anyone cares I actually am going to travel for awhile once the last orders are sent then go back to writing.

Peace.
James

Jimi - there's gotta be some humour in all of this to fuel your stand-up comedy! You could really open some eyes and ears with laughter at the stupidity of it all!
Have your people call mine and let's do breakfast!
