hahaha! You sound like me! First thing I did leaving the gym was light up a cig. I was in a 5-k run once and hid in the woods and had a cig. How sick is that.

Indeed, I would abstain for 30 minutes before going, but on the way back from the gym I'd light up! LOL But, hey, just because I am doing on unhealthy thing doesn't mean I should compound the error by eating garbage or being sedentary. Still, it IS pretty funny!

Well, so many people replied that I'm not sure where to start, haha. But yeah, I puff on this thing like crazy, it just tastes soo good. I've definitely been feeling this way from smoking too much. I am worried about "hotboxing" on my breaks.. yes, we can't smoke ecigs in the workplace. You know, the most f%$#*d up part? WE CAN CHEW. It's ridiculous. I understand the no smoking cigs of course, that's a fire hazard. But how chewing is okay and ecigs aren't is beyond me, and my company doesn't even have the decency to make a good reason. They try and say it's a "non-work related activity". Well, so is chewing. I'd love to push that point, but I'm afraid if I do they'll only ban chewing as well and make me one of the most hated people at work. I think I will try and puff in the bathroom, haha. Not like anyone would notice, it smells like perfume if anything. I ordered some new juice, I tried to find some around town but all I could find were carts at QT that don't fit my e-cig. Until my new juice arrives I'm just going to try and space it out. I went to buy the Glycerin but backed out at the last minute. It says it was for your skin, and it had some other ingredient in it so I wasn't sure what to do. I might be able to get a hold of some juice through a friend to last me. I wish I had a shop here in town that sold juice. T.T

T.T. I had the same heart palp thing when I got started. I was definately overdoing it. Read on the forum that ecig doesn't give the immediate hit of nic that you get on an analog, it builds up slower but its definately THERE as our experience can attest. Recommend you either pace yourself on the vaping OR step down to a 12-18 mg nic (by "watering" down with PG or VG - buy it from a juice vendor then you know it's the right stuff! -or ordering lower mg) and continue at your current pace. Plus depending how many analogs you are still smoking that's even more nic! Drink lots of water if you are vaping lots.

I am six weeks in, got through the heart palps, then felt REALLY tired all the time for about 10 days, had some muscle aches for about the same, and noticed last week that it was all gone and I feel great! So hang in there, try different things till you find what works for you. Best of luck!

1) I vape 24/7 and no matter the strength I can always mess myself up-- remember its nic/time not just nic... When drinking I can drain an 808d bat in like 20min easy... You're smoking not vaping--hitting it hard for 15 min will give you symptoms... remember also that your body adapts... if you vape sporadically then blast yourself for 15min then it will shock you...
2) I LOVE johnson creek juice--the second I got rid of the chinese juice, esp the flavors, esp the vanilla my throat and sinsues felt better... try a little bottle from them (chocolate truffle!) ... people react differently to juices

The Glycerine you can find in the Wal-mart first aid section is the same stuff I use myself for my DiY. After a year I can attest to no side effects noticeable, but long term is still unknown of course. As long as it is 100% USP Glycerine, it should be ok to use. GL :)

sounds to me like you are just over doing it on the nic. seriously, find a tasty juice that you love and order it in an 11mg and a 6mg. remember, the cigarette corporate SOBs only put the nic in there in the first place to get you addicted enough to buy their product. you don't need it that high :p

as for the heart thing, coming from someone with a fun newly diagnosed heart condition, if symptoms keep happening GET IT CHECKED OUT! when you feel that flutter in your chest take your pulse at the base of your wrist. if your pulse rate stays the same, or only quickens for a few moments, you're probably fine. if it stays elevated for a long period of time, you might have a problem. it's when you're doing something strenuous like working out that you get the palpitations, chest pains, or a feeling almost like your lung is collapsing that you call 911! when you feel those little jumps or chest tightness when you're just sitting around doing nothing, it is mostly anxiety related. something a nice dose of ativan would help with lol. but if you keep getting this feeling, get it checked out. it could be nothing, nicotine OD, stress, or something worse like ASD. listen to your body and if your body says OH CRAP then get to a doctor :)
