Hello Army, hope y'all are having a blessed day today. We got 1" to 2" of snow around Monroe NC last night. Everyone is freaking out like sixth graders 'cause it snowed enough to cover the grass ! My Beloved is from WV, and I'm origonally from MD, so we just smile and wonder what would happen if these people ever saw one to two feet of the white stuff ! And don't get this old trucker started on what I've driven through in New England or around the Great Lakes.

I was close to putting an APB out for you PopPop.

I think it was January or February of '04 (?) I saw thundersnow over the city of Charlotte. I was hauling Groceries for Wal-Mart out of Pageland SC then. The BossMan knew I was from up north and said he'd look after me if I'd go back out that night (that sort of thing happens in trucking). The warm air above the cold air below produced a lightning/ thunder storm, but the precipitation turned to snow before it hit the ground. And, yes, it snowed about a foot that night. People were abandoning thier cars in the traffic lanes on 485 and walking away ! It was definatly a memery I'll keep !

I moved here in January, 1998. A year or two later is when we got 22". Took a week for people to come out of their houses. Being from ChiTown, I was the only one who had snow shovels. After I got my driveway done, I lent them out and didn't see them back for a week.

I'm still around, just truckin' up. Should be busy next four months ( busy season for lumber haulers) but I will try to stop in and say hello !
By the way, does breaking even include new equipment, attys, clearos, juices, etc. ? I'm just happy I can sleep without wheezing, do yardwork without panting, and just all around feel better and live better. Screw Big tobacco, vaping is The Way !

As of this last Friday, I am $456.35 in the black. When I get my order in, it will be adjusted down. :) I try to place my order to coincide with delivery around Fridays (I used to spend $56.50 every Friday on a carton) so that helps to keep the spreadsheet in my favor when the order arrives :D Yeah, I'm weird that way.

Now if I do get another PV, that will cut into my savings :( Oh well, such is life. But I will still be in the black ;)

hmmm...you know this really helped me. I remember buying a $30 carton every 4-5 days. That easily makes my daily savings at $6/day. Easily. And I suspected I spent more than $5/day. Soooo, spreadsheet has been updated and now my breakeven is May. It makes more sense to me. Budget is happier. :D

I have a 7 page spreadsheet I created to track my work information (Agencies, claim numbers, warranty companies, mileages, payment info and YTD data). Danged if I'm gonna make a spreadsheet tracking my e-cig expenses. But then, maybe it would give me an idea of just exactly what the comparison would be. Let's see, $6 a day for American Spirits times 7 times 52. About $42 a week = $2182.00 a year. WOW! I think I will break even soon.

PopPop, this maple tobacco from Cravin' Vapes is pretty good for about 10 pulls. Then it loses the maple and the grassy takes over. I never did call Shawn. But I think he got my take on it.

Yea, it seems to be less tobacco and more grassy as it ages. I still like thier sweet vapes, though. Mixed CV's Strawberry Cheesecake and HHV's Bleeding Heart about 50/50 and came up with a smooth, sweet Strawberry flavor I've kept in my REOSmini for about a week now.

CV is still one of the better vendors I've sampled. He approaches HHV closer than anyone in regard to similar flavors and feel (small font tobacco). He's falling just a bit short though. Heather is tops...that's all there is to that. That chick is in a league of her own and she is answering her calling in life.

See Spreadsheets are not evil  :D

I actually have a calculation in there for liquids compared to cigs. I am spending WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY less on liquids than I did on cigs. The bottom line on my spreadsheet does have the equipment figured in. Everything that I have spent on ecigs is figured in.

Now that I say that, whatever "Gifts" that are ecig related are Not figured into the equation. ;)

And I'm sure you know Robin, your dedication to those VN's have contributed to your saving quite significantly. You see others who are getting every vape gadget under the sun and they are not saving as much (if at all). But that's not a knock on them in any way. They enjoy the hobby aspect of it. I used too as well and sorta of still do. :)

I kept a spreadsheet diligently my first year vaping, where I tried everything I could get my hands on, at a time when an ego kit was over $100.. and I still spent only around $1600 and change. My analogs used to cost me around $3500 a year. No contest and no more spreadsheets. I've been vaping what I want, on whatever device I want since then. I KNOW that I will not be close to what I used to spend on analogs. ;)

I have kept every receipt of everything I have bought since day 1. It's an impressive pile. When I get home I will snap a pic of the stack and show y'all. Picc has seen it and questioned why I save em. Because when this is all said and done I will be curious in what I dumped into vaping. One thing I can say it is one of the best things I've decided to do.
