Yes, that would be me. Pre-quitting cigarettes. The vocals are stronger now then they were back then. I don't have any current stuff up.

Thanks :)

Nice guitar, Hubby has a Martin six string and a couple of others. He just messes around playing and about the time he finally builds up calluses, he stops playing

I see some of these old Martin's on Pawn Stars and American Pickers going for big bucks.

You are welcome.

Mine is a Takamine EF350MC. Flame Maple back and sides. I can relate to playing till the callouses thicken then laying it down.

Now listening to SRV: Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live At Montreux

Phhhttttttt.....maybe I have a Playboy Bunny bottom....well.....OK.....not really, but I don't got a fluffy one!

LOLOL:pervy:

...Wanted to mention that corgis are naturally an androgynous lot, so don't scratch your heads at the gender confusion of your pre-ordained corgi names. They are %100 accurate, I assure you.

Hey RJ y'all know I love Robin. However....NO. No You won't. You will not miss cleaning your son's bathroom I promise you. Not even one little bit. LOLOL

I was about to say...I'm not so sure about missing THAT! I cleaned it top to bottom and put on a fresh shower curtain liner in less than an hour. Not too shabby. He must be listening to my "you better shoot straighter or I'll take away your ability to conceive children" speech. That, or either he's going outside!

Well ISU got their butts kicked.... I got my sidewinder tank changed but I tell you it's like I have two left hands when I'm trying to work on something like that. I made it much harder than it needed to be but so far no leaks and that was my problem before. Hopefully it will continue to not leak and I can have the professionals check what I did at Vapebash.

Though I've hardly met you yet, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, April!
4463287399_1c422c97bb.jpg

I bow down to you more than I can say for the insanely hard job that you do, and I hope you have a splendid, relaxing day in the sun.

I second Blix on digging all the REO love going on it this thread all of a sudden:D. But if you're happy as a clam without one, then more to spend on juice, right? For me, I wasn't happy until I got my REOs because the %100 VG juices that I prefer were just making for too many headaches. As much as I love the little "garage remotes";), I don't proselytize because not everyone will have the need for such an expense (cause, yeah, ouch:p). Speaking of ouch, anyone want to talk me out of the Hornet RBA I'm about to buy??

Becky, OMG, that is insanely cute!!!! Did you really make that?

Have to say I agree with the bottom feeder being wonderful. I don't have a REO but I do have the VMOD 2 which is very affordable and I am in love with it. I would love to also have a REO - maybe some day, I will.

I never could get into basketball. The only dribbling I was good at was down the front of my shirt.

Haven't caught up since this ^, so hope it's not too bad of an interruption. You're fantastic, Robin! That cover of "Black Horse and Cherry Tree" is just killer. I'd kill to be able to sing, and I bow down to you -

It has to be so exhilarating, too. Do you have any gigs on the horizon? ANY other videos of yours must go directly onto the HHV music thread pronto. Yeesh, brand new to your little tribe here, and I'm issuing orders? Don't want to come off that way, but people with real musical talent like that make me go all stupid fangirl, honest to goodness. I need to read back on this thread for more about your pro singing, since I'm probably just being redundant in asking more about it. Great pipes!!

Lol thanks. Haven't looked for any bands yet down here. Pretty soon I will be putting out feelers after I get acclimated to what is around here. Baby steps all over again.

Robin, I liked that last song in the playlist (Big Girls Don't Cry). Looked like a recording session in a fancy studio. No? Your hair was short.

That was done in one of those recording booth things at an amusement park probably 5+ years ago. That song is actually by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. She started out as Stacey Ferguson on Disney's second go round of The Mickey Mouse Club. That group of kids had Christine Agulara, Justin Timberlake and Brittney Spears to name a few.

Well growing up if I didn't watch football, basketball, baseball and golf I wouldn't have watched much tv. That was back in the day when there was one tv in the house that dad was in charge of and you had to get up off the couch to change the channel or volume (that was us kid's job)

RJ...sounds like you got all of your work done so time for another beer:laugh: Enjoy your son's birthday tomorrow and don't let the company stress you out.

Did you really make that?

Goodness, no!! Now I feel like some sort of baking poser:oops:. Just hit up google for something nice for a nurse's birthday. Sure hope she had a glorious day. I'm waiting for the %50 off sale at Vapage to snatch up a Vmod. At that price, it's a no-brainer. Hope REOville doesn't disown me for that:laugh:. I just bought my first RBA today (a Hornet). Nuts that I'm so intimidated by a little chunk of metal, but it's just time to get over it and see what the hype is about. Maybe I'll somehow discover my inner tinkerer, though I'm wouldn't lay odds on it; that's for sure.

Well since you asked, we're driving to Florida, wife and two kids, about 24 + hours broken up over two days to visit family in the Orlando area. Of course the requisite trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom next Wednesday for the kids sake.... ahh vacation, much needed!

Oooooh, safe trip, Carbon and family! Hope you have a wonderful time.

I've made that drive, only from Moline to Tampa before. My trip was a couple days before Christmas. Beautiful drive, but practically bumper to bumper all the way from Atlanta to Florida at 60 mph. A bit nerve wracking.

I'm on it! About the beer part. :D And oh yeah birthdays ALWAYS stress me out! Just a lot to do. My Mom has already made me feel bad about not making my son's cake as I usually do. He's getting a pre-made cake from the bakery at my grocery store...and it will probably have flowers on it! LMAO! I'm not super woman and I'm old and tired and I make his birthday special in other ways. Here's one of his cakes I made for him a couple of years ago (and yeah I'm bragging a little...):

IMG_1371.jpg

I've made others but I'm too tired to type right now and my computer is too slow. I will be drinking even MORE beer after the party. I'll be glad when it's over...and I know my son will be happy so that's all that matters.

:)
