I've been pretty distracted lately so I haven't been around much. Just a quick note or 2.

I got around to trying MOV's NETs for comparison to some of my favorite HHV NETs.

Southern Gentlemen - it's ok. A little on the grassy side but not bad.

Virginia Flake RY4 - very pleasant vape. I've come to fear RY4s as most don't appeal to me. This one has a nice balance to it. It's being added to my rotation.

But the reason I'm posting this, and how it pertains to HHV...

Pendragon - weak sauce. From the description, I always figured it for a Gandalf/Legend clone. Not at all, save for some cherry notes. But the juice itself, while pleasant and creamy has no spine. No oomph. It's so light and airy as to almost not be worth the effort. After spending a few days with it, I tried out another new juice I had steeping...

Heavenly Army! Call me crazy. But this is Pendragon with the volume turned up to 11. Same overall flavor profile and creaminess, but much, much richer and bolder.

Another homerun for HHV. I can't even list a top 5 for HHV anymore. Even restricted to tobaccos only, I would need a top 7 or 8. (And I still haven't tried Shadow or Darkhorse)

ANTZ in disguise as a vapor. And he can stop at anytime but he's routinely supposedly vaping 45mg most of the time unless he drops down to 36mg. What an inflated asswipe

I know this is old stuff and (if you took Ice's advice) you've moved on, but your numbers aren't correct, you forgot the decimal point - it's 4 . 5 mg and 3 . 6 mg which is pretty low. Just saying... (once a teacher always a teacher)

I'm having a hard time with my DF. It just hasn't tasted good the last 3 days

I spent most of the last few days good in around with fruity, minty, vanilla stuff. Now I've settled in with HA (which I didn't care for when I first tried it). Now I like it.

Hope I come back around to DF because I've got an awful lot of it

Glad to hear you have some taste - I just got a bottle of HA and don't know what to think of it yet. First time I tried it, I had a cold and couldn't taste it either.

Question: Does anyone think there is that much difference between 18 mg nicotine and 15 mg? (and don't anyone dare answer, 3 mg)

The reason I am asking is because I thought I should start to lower it a little. Been using 18 and my last order I put some 15 mg bottles in it. Used all 15 the other day and I had horrible, terrible, horrible cravings.

Went back up to 18 mg. Just normal (only been full time vaping since 12/31/12) after 2 months or just need 18 mg? Any opinions out there from our veterans?

Hi Jazz, Hope you're feeling better now. Weening off the nic can be tricky - my first 3 bottles from HHV were 18mg, the next 6 were 15 and they came in before the 18's were empty so I was jumping back and forth between those for a while. The next 19 bottles from HHV were 12mg and I still have a bit left in the two remaining 15 mg. So I'm pretty much at 12 mg now and I'm not feeling any cravings. My last two orders have been 6 mg - one has been steeping since Feb 13 and the other will be at the end of April. Jumping from 12 to 6 is where I notice a big difference! That's a whole 50% drop! However, I am determined to go through with it!!! Be strong! I'm sure you can do it! Bronze gave you some sound advice - use it. You can do this.

He is doing better this morning. In some pain. His appendix inflamed into his colon and so it was harder to remove than most. The surgeon had to take a few samples and send them for testing because of the way the organs were. He thinks it is very unlikely any cancer is involved but wanted to check to make absolutely sure. We should get the report on that in about a week. They had some trouble getting his pain under control but have it straight now. I know the pain has to be something, because he was not fazed by the pain from his triple-break ankle fracture a few months ago.

They are probably going to send him home today, so I am definitely looking forward to that.

Edd, so glad to hear he's back home! He'll be up and around in no time.

I plan on going down to the next level on my next order. I was going to, this last order, but why does the jump from 12 to 9 seem sooooo huge when it's the same difference between 15 to 12? Getting out of double digits is scary...to harsh a word...intimidating maybe?

Robin, hate to burst your bubble, but HHV's next step down from 12 mg is 6 mg. I'm at that stage now - it's tough, but I'm gonna do it!

Well Right to Work starts here on Thursday and the contractors offered us a decent contract that we will be voting on tomorrow night. Hopefully it is one that we can agree on. It would be a huge relief for me especially after I just bought my house. If w go on strike it could be devastating for me

On lunch and was reading ECF about all the credit card fraud stuff. Wow...pretty scary. Does anyone have any options for online shopping that would be safer than using a straight up credit card? Maybe it would be helpful to put it on our forum or this thread. Is kanthal wire available anywhere like in a hardware store? Anybody been hit on their CC (I think X was recently)? I'm seriously thinking about slowing down my credit card vape purchases if that's even possible. If I could get wire locally, yarn from Walmart, and drive three hours to HHV once in a while I'll be set! I need to call local B&Ms and see if any of them carry wire and stuff I could just pick up in-state. And then if I did purchase online I could try other options than using my CC. Just a thought....

I don't have a CC anymore, THANK GOD! Haven't had one since we moved here in '87. I usually use my debit card or PayPal - preferably PP when I purchase online. You can also get prepaid CC's from what I hear. I don't keep much in my debit card account, so I'm not worried too much. Mrs. Chak has the big $$ in her account and she don't go online.

The Nano is loaded. I can taste some Huntsman, from an early sample bottle and Burley, from Vaperite.com. I forget what else there was. Not too bad this time.

Close to tasting like I scrapped the pipe clean and relit the residue. Wait, that was something I did in the early 70's. Not the same thing.

Actually it is not that bad. A mild pipe feel to it. Plenty of vapor.

I've just discovered something. I can lay in bed and sleep in now. When I smoked, I would NEED to get out of bed to have that first cig as soon as my eyes opened. This morning, it was cold in the house (temp dropped overnight and we didn't have the heat on), I woke at 7:17am and decided it was just too chilly to bother getting up. Each time I woke, I chose to just snuggle in. So here I am at this unbelievable hour having my first cup of coffee. I never felt that godawful need for nic.

When I smoked, I would make a beeline to the thermostat and push that thing way up, and start the coffee and have my first cig while waiting for enough to fill the pot to get my first cup. My routine has become more relaxed and I don't have my first vape until I have my cup in hand too.

Chak, 4.5 translates to 45mg. 1.2 translates to 12mg. Some places use the decimal system while others don't. And you're right about Heathers! It is 6mg the next lower! Oh lord. I may need Bronze to figure out the mix. No wonder I've been hesitant to make that purchase to a lower nic. My brain really didn't want to recognize the 6 and made it a 9 instead.
