That's one of those bands that just takes me on an instant nostalgia trip back to high school. They were huge during my time going to the same school where I was later to (briefly...stupid colon) teach.
Wow, I like this... Where was I when these guys came out? Oh yeah, I was hear - 12 years of learning how to teach English under my belt. Then six more teaching it with my present school and another 6 years spent learning how to teach computer in English.
THAT, it is! But I miss my full time teaching gig more than words can say. It's just an incredibly rewarding job, but I've been so lucky with my students that, beyond TONS of papers to correct, and some of the new, constant testing being just dumb, I don't have the horror stories that a lot of colleagues do. Robin, could you explain a little more what your visit had to do with a 2nd grade classroom? I'm quite curious, and maybe I somehow missed you telling us about it.
It IS an incredibly rewarding job and one that I never thought or planned to get into. Those first 12 of learning to teach were at the University of hard knocks.My daughter and I got out first computer around this time, the same time that song came out, and I started to think, maybe I should use this to teach, or teach this subject instead of English. Kids sure would like this better than gerunds, noun clauses and the like... I wanna learn to teach with computers and I did that at SDSU online.
Now that DOES sound like a blast! If you all DO set that meet up for next year, could you put the word out on this thread nice and early? As I've said, that area is the next big trip I plan to take. I was thinking about sooner than a year from now, but I'd love to crash that party, especially if it'll also entail some quality boilermakers

Whoa, that was fast indeed!!
I can really see the frustration international vapers have. It takes so long to get your orders. You feel like you have to go on a limb by ordering larger sized quantities. Of course, once you've established your rotation it is easier to plan. But during the discovery period it has to be frustrating. Order too much and it's wasted $$. Order too little and you go cravin' mad.
Which remonds me - I have to get in touch with my mule. He's supposed to be getting back in BKK here just about this time.
