Every single one of us live in small towns with no major crime besides speeding. My niece lived in a prime uppity location but yet look what happened to her. People are just going crazy is what I think and this is all just random stuff. It can happen anywhere in today's world. But it seems so movie-like ya know? I mean I guess bad things happen to good people but dang. You won't meet a finer family than ours. Hard working good people...what America should be about. But this is just getting too close for comfort. And I was telling Mom what you just said...make it more difficult for burglars and they will more than likely move on from your house. I do live beside five cops and on a cul de sac on a true dead end road with blunt objects (no guns though) scattered about my house within easy reach....but still it's scary.

I'll be calling security/alarm companies tomorrow. Does anyone know an approximate cost of getting one for windows and doors? I mean my son is here alone all summer long and every day after school! I gotta make it safer. Who walks around half naked, with a knife, ringing door bells. What were they expecting....tea and cookies?!?!? Crazy people!

I gotta go cut grass.....and I sure don't wanna!!! Wah!

I ought to mention that the house is surrounded by a 6 ft. cinderblock wall with trident-like, 3 foot iron spikes at the top that curve downwards inside, outside and straight up. Most houses out here have tall cement walls some with shards of glass stuck in the cement. Talk about tough neighbourhoods!!!

Quick question for the thread. I just got two bottles from HHV, (they won me over with Angel's Kiss) "Heaven's Army" and "Shadow" since they said they had a bit of a RY4 style to them but done in an HHV way.

I notice they have a strong taste like Marlboro Lights right out of the mail. Now I in no way think there are bad, they just might not be the best choice for me. I was wondering if steeping a bit might help balance out the flavor a bit on these because I can taste undertones in there that I can't quite place but like.

If steeping will help what is the recommended time for these two if anybody knows?

Thanks in advance.

I would think that Heavenly tobacco would be more like HHV's run on RY4. While I remember Shadow being on the sweet powdered sugar side at one point in it's steeping, I didn't connect it with anything RY4 like. Heavenly Army, however, does remind me of Marlboro Lights, but just a tad.

I would suggest steeping them some more and see what they become. They do get better with age. ;)

EDIT: While I was typing this long dance around your question, the Chimp got to it in less than 10 words.

What size bottle? That does make difference. If sample size, they might have been fairly fresh. Cap and dripper off for a day or two, shaken (not stirred) when you think about it. Cap and dripper back on about a week. This is assuming they are the sample size.

Thanks for the help :D. That's the only bad thing about new bottles some times heh. But I have other flavors to last me while thee get vapable and usually they are worth the wait.

And take the caps and drippers off first for a couple days to evaporate all the extracting alcohol.

Heh I went in with both feet after my "Kiss" experience (wow that could be taken wrong) and ordered 30 mil. Not the smartest plan I know, but I felt fairly confident I would like them. I still do actually.

I think the combination of our economy and drugs like :censored: that are cheap to make buy destroy the mind have made for more criminals on the street..looking for money to buy their drugs. It's scary and it's sad.

I agree. You can tell when the economy starts going down crime starts going up. People get desperate. They also turn to other things to numb their desperation.

Then they definitely need steeping! At least two weeks would be my suggestion. Nice to see you over here Who! :)

Thanks Nice to see you too :). I found HHV on one of those "Best of 2012" threads and fell in love. They are a great vender. I don't know about their CS because so far I have not had to rely on it. But I get my juice promptly and in good condition every time.

I agree. And mental disorders. So you got brothers stabbing their sisters, punks shooting elementary school children, bombs going off in crowds, open fire at parades. WHEW! Crazy stuff in the news every single day. But I'm just a little bit fed up myself....they need not mess with me or mine. I'll be getting an alarm...and then we'll see what else I need to do. I can't believe this day is moving so fast! If I was at work it would be dragging. I gotta get in the shower by 1:30 and I haven't done a thing except wash our new towels. I spent so much money yesterday on toiletries and groceries and other stuff.....but we are fully stocked now. The one thing I forgot to get was tomato soup for my son to eat tonight after he gets his braces. I'll run by on my way to the ortho. I guess I really should get going. Beautiful day here...and grass is growing by the second.

The last few drops of well-steeped Serendipity today. It's like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. ;)

Alrighty then. Doing my, ahem, weekly maintenance on my Nova heads and as I'm screwing the head off the stem, this is what happened: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368545978.740410.jpg

I think I found the culprit that leaks from the bottom. By the staining around the white area, it looks like its been doing this for quite some time. Explains the gurgling and the little bit of liquid I would have in the thread area.

So.....garbage for this puppy?
