Sorry to hear about your account Slim. Hope you get that worked out.

Caps and drippers back on the stash and now to find a place to store it since the vape station is full!!! I could always clear out a desk drawer of starter kit boxes, I suppose.

Night all, Monday morning comes too early. :grr:

Raining here too the last couple days from a cyclone down south of us. Slightly cooler, but not much.

Well folks, this is a momentous day for me. Right about this time of morning one year ago, I was having my last cigarette. I had received my first PV three days before. I have not had a single puff off of a cigarette in exactly 1 year.

It's amazing to look back at how long that journey seems even though it is just one year. I started with a KGO kit and cartomizers. I still have those old KGOs somewhere, but I now have a Provari, Reo Mini, Lavatube, Silver Bullet, Baby Bullet and several Twists and Spinners. And I now use Vivi Nova tanks exclusively (except on the Reo of course).

The juice journey has been even more interesting. I still have some of the juice I bought with my KGO kit. How did I ever vape that swill? I actually thought it was ok back then, but I knew there had to be better juices out there. Luckily, it only took me about 4 months before I found HHV and knew I had found my main juice vendor.

Anyway, happy vaping anniversary for me. And a special thanks to Bronze for starting this thread, which was the impetus I needed to go ahead and give HHV a try.

Update on the AC: had someone come out and they sucked out water and junk from the bottom of something and also the hose. It's back in business. Hubby reported that he asked what was wrong with it, the repair guy said "Lack of maintenance". Well we are renting so it wasn't our fault  He also stated that the unit is 9 years old and it probably won't last much longer. Not sure if he will tell the owner that a new one needs to be installed but since we don't plan on signing another year lease, I'm not worrying about it :)

Ugh Slim! That just sucks! Can you contact the mortgage company and arrange to mail checks directly for a while? Have your work stop depositing into the account?

I'm going to go to the bank after I talk to my lawyer tomorrow. Luckily my work deposits my checks into my account at another bank.

The thing that concerns me is since I set my mortgage to automatically come out out of my 5/3 checking I received a discount of $1000 off of the principle and .5% off of my interest rate.

Ugh so stressed out over this :( thankfully I was able to forget about it for awhile and have some fun :) hopefully tomorrow the lawyer will tell me that this wont be as difficult as I'm anticipating

Yeah very funny, I had that coming. It is a resizing issue. The resolution is barely adequate, I am converting from Inkscape to JPG. When I open it in my photos, it looks splendid and is a 4X4 photo on screen. Maybe ECF compresses it on the way in. Something is not quite right.

Happy Vape-aversary Pappy! Isn't it always the same; start off with something and think "I can do this", and as you experience more flavors and better equipment it seems like "How did I ever make it this far when starting with THAT Swill ?"
Sometimes I am grateful for the 'old timers' like my vaping mentor who has been vaping for almost five years. I try to imagine what it must've been like when a Janty eGo was 'cutting edge' and juice vendors were far less plentiful. Those must seem like dinosaur days compared to now. Where would the rest of us be without those early vapers ?

My sister, her husband and daughter still vape china liquids. I don't know how they do it. I was rinsing out some of her bottles yesterday (she saves them for me for steeping) and about gagged from the smell. In my sister's defense tho, she smoked away her sense of smell, so her taste is affected also. Husband and niece.. idk.. I'm very thankful I found HHV and the army in my 2nd month of vaping. I'd probably be back on analogs if I hadn't.

Duh, I keep forgetting fruity vapes needs steeping as well. I didn't really care for Cinful Pear right out of the bottle, the cinnamon was way to sharp and strong and I just couldn't stand vaping it much. Now almost a month later I tried it again and I haven't vaped anything else for the last two days.
Now the pear is stronger than the cinnamon and it's quite lovely. :)

Praise for Bronze aside, I love reading testimonials like this. Pap, I can't say I have not had a puff off a cig like you can. I still sneak a few a day. But that is from 30 cigs/per day for 40 years. I came into this vaping arena saying I would never crave a cig. If that meant smoking 20 a day or 10 a day or none a day or whatever. Vaping was going to have to push cigarettes out of my life. Well, it has pushed out 80%+ of them.

You remain an inspiration for many of us who want to know that living a cig-free life is possible. Congratulations to you!
