I've been learning AutoCAD (explains why I got the laptop). Also doing lots of house stuff. Time got away from me. :)

Good to see you back General. How's your head getting around that one? Especially on Win 8!!! Can you find your files after creating a nice 3D graphic? I can see why you've been incommunicado for so long....

It's the monument and a hula hoop... Just feeding the gossip ;)

Nice work. Good to see ya Sunny. I am glad my wild speculation does not seemed to have bothered you. You have always been tolerant of my adolescent ways. Thanks!

Hey Chak. I haven't got to the 3D portion yet. Just starting up so I have to learn the 2D first for awhile. I'm learning because I really want to do the 3D. I was working as Manufacturing Engineering Manager back in the mid 90's. It was my responsibility to make the capital budget every year. And then I would have to go out and spend tons of money buying all of the capital assets. One year I allotted a quarter million for Pro-E. They were the ones who initially popularized 3D CAD. The engineers fought me tooth and nail because it was a brand new world of CAD to them and they were afraid of it. But I had their boss' undying support. I made sure I bought a ton of training. One by one I made those engineers learn Pro-E. They loved me for it because they thought 3D CAD was a blast and I also made them VERY VERY marketable. Anyone who knew 3D Pro-E in those days could name their salary. And like a fool, I never learned it even though I was responsible for buying it and implementing it. What a fool I was!

I used some Dragons Fire to whittle the log down to a toothpick. Picking my teeth with it now.. ;)

"I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK......" Got plenty of raw material up there Dusty

Bring in the chorus!!!

Edit: I knew Becky would get this, but I just couldn't resist either!

Hey Kolect, I saw the little brouhaha with a couple of posters in the NETty Awards thread. Pay no attention, there are rude people on the forum just like in real life, and there some folks that just like being asshats. You won't find much of that in our little corner here.

haha yes, no worries. Not everyone has manners. This seems like a nice thread though!

Of course we all know Bronze is not into April, because Bivie is pregnant with Bronze's baby! :)  (I hope that is enough emoticons to prove I'm just being silly so nobody take me seriously OK?...stand up comedy is safely marked off my bucket list I assure you!) ;)

I've got really old Gandalf (that's what the bottle says) in my Vamo (waves it around in the air like I just don't care) and it's fantastic!

It's almost 1 pm and I haven't even started my day yet! Have a good one Army!

Love the timing of the goodnight from Chimps and good morning from papaw!

My sister tried my HT and wants a 50ml. Once I explained that her juice was costing her $35 for 50ml and mine was only $21.. and she wants a twist and protank. I found the protank on ivape for $15, has anyone else seen a better deal?

Working the beer cart at a benefit golf tournament today. I've never been on the golf course. Could be interesting.
And the beer cart couldn't be a better place to start learning about golf courses. ;)

It's never too late to learn...

You got that right! I can appreciate that what used to take an inch thick stack of size D blueprints now can be put on a single 15" laptop screen and do far more than what all those blueprints could do. It's fascinating and a total explosion not only in technology, but in paving the way for technology.

Ok, just one more post.

I put this up in the Hardware thread already, but thought I'd give ya'll something to talk about. Just pulled the trigger on this mod of a VAMO. Yes, it's similar to the one XFoo did...

Mine will be a combination of the two pictured on the right and below... AND it's shipping on Monday. YAY!!!
